Get a cheap Microscope 100×... best way to do it. Different strains might look different at finishing... Pistols colors is just a rough reference... unless you know very well the strain you are growing.
First, how old are these plants? Do you have a fan blowing on them? Leaf shape says that or too much nitrogen.
Save your money. I can tell you right now that these are not going to finish well. Even letting them go full term, they look light deprived. You might end up with a gram of pot when dried, even then, it probably wont even get you high. Trash it all and start over.

Speak for yourself. Receding pistils is an important visual indicator of flower maturity. Excessive amounts of pistils on dried buds = harvested too early.
I speak for myself and millions of others who use trich's exclusively to determine maturation. Pistils receding or turning brown are never an indicator of peak potency.
I didnt say pistils determine "Peak potency," that would require lab analysis...If you grow enough plants, eventually you learn when to harvest without being dependent on a monocle or a usb doodad.
Millions of people are also harvesting early. I don't go by trichs or pistils. I go by the overall look of the plant like millions of other people that have done it that way for decades. Going by trichomes is a relatively new thing and is mostly found on cannabis forums. Most people don't fiddle around with microscopes looking at trichomes when deciding to cut their plants.
