what is the wattage of your grow light and the size of grow tent ?

Tell us the details of your grow.
Its 5x5 gorilla grow tent with 1 foot extension so 7'11 high. Running a scorpion diablo I think they're 650W. 8inch AC infinity intake and exhaust with carbon filter and silencer to keep things on the hush. I went with 10 gallon bucket company drain to waste but I'm thinking I should have went with 3 gallon pots I'm not sure as I have a small auto flower growing in a 3 gallon pot and it's well out grow it.

Growing is very addictive. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on this site if you ever have questions. If I can do anything just let me know.
cheers mate I'm sure there will be questions along the way, I'm a novice/intermediate grower at best and just started out with coco and it seems to be a dream to run but still have a lot to learn. cpl of years ago I had a pretty good dwc setup but I never had a real lot of success fighting alot of humidity and heat problems and gave up. So this time I'm trying to do it right learning from all the previous problems I think I'm in a good position to make this work. Also I'm down 6K on this so I'm balls deep. Fingers crossed for me haha
haha all good bro I'm a sparky this whole setup draws less than 5 amps... I have an AC infinity T8 with carbon filter and silencer for exhaust all ready installed above the light and an S8 with silencer for intake on it's way.

Those ten gallons are huge for that tent. you’ll never use all that area in root mass. Go with the 5 even maybe 7 gallons. You can do the ten but to get the full use of the pot you be crowded in there. Especially with the Diablo. Great light!
I feel like you're right I've emailed where I bought it from to see if I can swap it. they only come in 3 and 10 gallon unfortunately. I need something in the middle. I just like how they are plug and play setup comes with everything to auto feed and drain away.
Yeah I should have went with S8 for both fans as the T8 is temp and humidity controlled so I'm thinking it will play havoc with negative pressure when ramping up or down. I havent played with the controler yet but I'm hoping I can set it to one speed with a ramp up if temps get to high. Or maybe set a minimum low fan speed that's always above the output of the S8. I'm sure there will be some trial and error should hopefully get it right by the time they start to flower.

Its less that since the T8 and S8 have the same CFM, and you'll always want your exhaust fan to pull a little more than the intake. Also, If you want a minimum fan speed setting you'll need to move to the Controller 67 to get that feature (TBA, a better controller all around). Then you can not only set minimums and maximums but also have control over the transitions more fully. But none of their current controllers will allow for different settings for each fan plugged in, so whatever you set happens to both.
In the end, I manually restricted the duct on my intake S6 to make it balance better with my exhaust T6.

yeah I dont plan on running the s8 intake from the t8 digital controller as well, just the exhaust. The s8 comes with a standard variable speed control. Hoping I can set the exhaust to one speed with a ramp up if temps increase and I'll just match the intake to make sure theres neg pressure. I have an aircon to install soon so hopefully that will enable me to run steady constant temps and the fan speed wont fluctuate so much.

You can't. There's no 'minimum speed' on the standard T controller. It either off, or its on. Also, as it does its automated thing, unless you're standing there with the tent and ratcheting the intake on/off or up/down there's no good way about it.
The best thing to do is throttle down the actual amount of air coming in the intake and hook both fans up to the same controller. The T series and the 67 both allow two fans. For what you're looking to do, you'll want the Controller 67.

I have the digital controller come with the t8. So hook the both up to it and just restrict the intake duct more than the exhaust, sounds like a much better plan thanks heaps.
