250w MH kit wiring help

Hi i bought this cheap 250w kit for veg,the kit came with a ballast,reflector,1 power cord and 2 wires to connect the reflector.So the power cord has 3 wires load,neutral and ground i connect those to the ballast but from the ballast to the reflector i only got 2 wires and no ground wire even tho there is a slot for ground wire on the reflector.
My Question is do i need a ground wire between reflector and ballast if so can i use a cable from my 400w kit that has a ground wire and use that cable to connect ground wire from reflector to the ballast and insert it in to the same slot where the ground wire for the power cord is since this ballast only has 1 slot for ground wire.

That ballast you show is for a "Sodium Vapor" lamp (whatever that is), or, a Halogen lamp. Neither one is any good for growing. What you need is a ballast for a "High Pressure Sodium" lamp.

Sodium Vapor is HPS (High Pressure Sodium). Unless I'm higher than I think.
