Wrong. Mine was a clone only Green Crack that's been passed around for 30 years. I'm still growing it and it hasn't ever done it again.

I'm saying when I got it, it had already been cloned for like 27 years or something. So it's been awhile since it came from seed. One of Snoop's dealers was the one who first planted it a long ass time ago.Well if it hasn't done it again, doesn't that mean i was right?. ...?. ...?

It didn't do it the first few times I grew it. Then did that once over a year ago. Hasn't done it since and I'm still growing it. I've been growing it for over 3 years. But I need a break so this might be the last time with it.

Ya, it had trichs, but not as many as some of my previous harvests. I don't think I was feeding enough S or K or something. I've been reusing my soil.

Technically Snoop just renamed the original strain("Cush") from Cecil C, as Green Crack. Some dispos didn't like that name, so renamed it Dream Queen.
Cush = Green Crack = Dream Queen
All are the same cut. I've grown it, and like the short flowering time and fruity taste, but it wasn't a keeper for me.

I believe that dark heart nursery in California calls their cut of Green Crack, Dream Queen. I think it's mostly a thing at Cali dispensaries that don't want to seem ghetto.

LOL, yeah that's how the dispensaries felt at the time too. Keep in mind this was way back pre-legalization, back when Cali was medical only and you had to have a Dr's note not to get popped. A strain called "Green Crack" somehow didn't quite go with the medical image the Cannabis industry was trying to portray at the time.

I moved to Tahoe back in the 90's to snowboard and lived in Truckee for like 6 years. Back when Volcom was just starting. Partied at the Volcom house all the time. So I'm not dissing CA.
I was probably smoking Tahoe OG too, lol.

Tucker had just been laid off from work but that wouldn’t stop him from attending his routine Tahoe trip to visit Nathan Fletcher and Mark Gabriel. After riding four days of fresh powder, Richard called work with the excuse that they were snowed in and extended his stay. For more than a week, they awoke every morning with two new feet of snow. It was their first real experience riding powder and the new obsession wouldn't stop there.
Two weeks later Richard quit his job to take some time off and snowboard. He and Tucker had also talked of starting a clothing company during the Tahoe trip but nothing was really finalized. Later that spring, the two came up with the idea of starting a riding company based around the three sports they enjoyed (snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing). With an initial $5,000 from Richard's dad, they started the process. First came the name, then came the stone and Volcom was born.
The Volcom idea would incorporate a major philosophy of the times, "Youth Against Establishment". This energy was an enlightened state to support young creative thinking. Volcom was a family of people not willing to accept the suppression of the established ways. This was a time when snowboarding and skateboarding was looked down upon and the U.S. was in a recession with riots in LA and the Gulf War breaking out. Change was in the air.
For the first two years, Richard and Tucker traveled around the world on wild journeys with friends riding whatever they could. The business side of things was minimal. The headquarters were set up in Newport Beach in Richard's bedroom and all sales were run out of tucker's bedroom in Huntington Beach. The two knew nothing about how to make clothes but that didn't matter. It was all about spirit and creativity. Clothing sales for the first year were $2,600.
Since those wild beginnings, the Volcom Stone has spread slowly across the world. The company has matured internally but continues to run off the same philosophy it started with. The Volcom thinking now flows through its art, music, films, athletes and clothing.

No, but the parties were awesome. I saw The Line which is a Volcom band play right in front of me on the couch I always slept on a few times. I also fell off the roof once, and went from the trampoline to my back on the ground when I was doing backflips drunk once, lol.
They have rules though or you'll get fucked with.
My buddy lived there and one of the Volcom chicks liked me, so I was golden.

Here is an update. It actually has a full calyx with pistils starting to swell! Pretty cool actually. I've got about 2 weeks till chop so I'm curious to see if it's grows much more. This is happening in about 20-30 places across 2 plants, this one is one of the more pronounced examples.

It seems to be a trait (rare) seen with Indica (desert weed), so there's very few sativa genes there, as is apparent from the trichome-rich fanleaf...
Interesting. This strain is definitely sativa dominant. I've also never personally seen a sativa have this kind of trichome production. It's definitely a weird strain, but in a good way.
