Do you even understand the legal weed market? I live outside of a town that has about 24,000 people in it. You can buy tomatoes at about 3 places. This town has 22 Dispensaries, and the State has over 9600 growers. This would be like a town of 24,000 and having 22 Mcdonald's.... and you gotta consider that half of them don't even like McDonalds.
I believe they call that a free market. It will shake out. That's how it works.

Why do I care if you make money? I want the price as low as possible, just like any other product.

If it is restricted to keep prices high, we have a new black market.

Maybe.. 2022 is going to be a defining year. I think alot will drop out. They have investors, bills, mortgages, at least I own everything outright. Maybe if we can just push a couple more grows out, things will self level. I guess we'll see.
The point of a free market is, the market sets the price. People need to forget about getting rich growing weed. Buy Tesla.

legal side. We are looking at branding at 4 dollars a gram and wholesale at 2.30..... is a volume market at the legal level(per space). and any small tier grows get outpaced unless they are above the avg
Is microbusiness an option? Still seems too big a commitment. Somewhere between microbusiness and caregiver ... lower fees, less regulation, lower prices. should be happy with ~100+k/yr, no? beats wage-earning for someone else.

I don't wanna get rich... Im already financially comfortable, but the effort and time, money, it takes to produce ~30 lbs of weed is incredible. I can make 30 lbs of tomatoes standing on my head.

im in washington, but more then a few wa rejects i personally know(know not support) went to OK to ride their green wave cash grab...

we still have a medical. im still personally medical, I run/work at a legal grow.

our medical is till very much alive and while 100k personally might be a job, lots of products to create and fund...

here it is all in how you cut it.

I get it. I lost the entire house on one round to powdery mildew, throwing out a truckload of 707 Headband really hurt. But that's the difference between home growers and commercial growers, commercial growers will have it dialed in and make it look as easy as producing tomatoes.

We are witnessing the transformation of the market. Market transformations are by definition market disruptions, creating lots of opportunity for gain and loss. All part of a free market.

Honestly, I'm more interested in which of the weed stocks are going to be the next Apple or Tesla. Buy the right one, wait ten years, retire a philanthropist.

You got State Fees, OSBI fees, OBNDD fees, nutes, the electric bill, nutes, stuff that breaks, business taxes, it never ends. Our bills run $4000 to $8000 a month for the business alone. It's ridiculous. $2000 to $2500 a unit, and I can make a decent living. But $700 makes me want to go back to work for Corporate, not that Im going to. . Ive enjoyed sleeping till noon for the past 3 years. LOL.

At one point, my electric bill was $1,200 for one month. I was getting urgent notices from the power company, and I was waiting for someone to request an inspection. Nothing happened.

Oh yeah.. that's another expense.. labs are $365 a strain for testing. I lost a room to mold about 2 years ago.. had to sell it to processors after we failed labs... $150 a lb was a kick in the nuts.

..... the threshold is really low too. 10,000 CFU's per sample. If you fail for pesticides, or heavy metals, you can't do shit with it. Matter of fact, you gotta pay the State to come pick it up... All labs are required to report to the State if you fail for anything.

3K a lb is great... $2500 is ok.. but $700 is an insult.
Fuck that is bad. In the UK, it is about £10 a gram for street weed, so a pound would be £4480 or $5934.

$700 is $43 an Oz, that is about the same as I would expect to pay for 3g.

So all the lack of prohibition means is there is a race to the bottom in pricing.

1200 for a month of electricity.....thats it for an entire house grow? Get back to me when you actually have to pay for some electricity and gear damn I've got way too much invested in gear alone.

Sorry, I didn't think I was here to impress anyone. How much per month is your electric bill?

If you're not here to impress anyone, then why even mention you did an entire house grow? And mentioning how high your electric bill got...

You said you wanted the price as low as possible. Free market blah blah... If you're using an entire house for a grow it's obviously to sell on the black market. How does low dispensary prices help you?
