Cal/Mag issue?

Here's another pic of my entire grow and you'll see why I'm a bit curious why the Kings Bread is acting so much differently than the Super Silver(s). The CKS site did say it was "medium" hard to grow, as opposed to most of the other strains considered "easy". It's supposedly a Jamaican strain and offspring of the Lamb's Breathe.

Just to throw this out there, I've seen hot spots develop in custom mixes, it can happen. No matter how well we think we mixed up the stuff we can get these differentiated patches of hotter ratios.

Some strains can handle almost any level of care and others are finicky and want a specific set of conditions separate from what most strains can handle. That is what often makes a medium or difficult to grow strain. It has specific characteristics that need to be learned and adapted to i.e. it's a cal/mag hog, doesnt like to be watered a lot, uses very little nutes (or a lot), likes it warmer etc. Thrives in extremely strong lighting...

I ran into this situation, but not nearly as extreme, with the Lambs Breathe Auto I grew using HP Promix and Mega Crop. The Jack Herer I grew with it was no issue whatsoever. I'm still learning some of the ins and outs of these plants and loving the challenge!!

I've been tinkering. Prolly too much. :p

Before I made this thread, I ordered Liquid Karma too see WTF. Don't berate me too much, but I did a light mist foliar feed on the leaves and attempted to avoid the bud sites as much as possible. I also "flushed" the soil a bit with the PH Perfect Trio, just enough to cause a couple of cups of runoff. Nothing too drastic. Couple of days later I used a Kelp Meal paste I made up to water with. This morning I used another watered down dose of PH Perfect. I also cut a couple of yellowing leaves at the bottom but left the necrotic looking ones on. I know I probably did a bit too much but I'm willing to suffer the consequences for the sake of learning what and what not to do. Also keep in mind I've heavily considered all posts, even if some of my actions might have seemingly contradicted those thoughts.

Sorry for the poor pic quality.

Closer view of the Kings Bread. I didn't want to touch the shitty looking leaves. It's quite a stark contrast compared to the younger Super Silver on the left. I used the same Kelp meal water and Liquid Karma on all 3 BTW.

This is the under side of the Kings Bread. Most of the leaves in the lower section aren't too bad off. The buds on the plant aren't getting any smaller, so that's good. Right? ;)

The 3 Stooges. Any thoughts on the top leaves? Is it OK to leave them on? Reason I ask is I don't know if it'll have any effect on the taste at all. The leaves under the tops are doing pretty good.

Advanced potassium deficiency
I'm assuming the leaves are beyond repair at this point. Anything I can try at this point or should I keep feeding like I have been? I started with 1/2 recommended and upped it to 3/4 yesterday.

Any pointers appreciated.

Here's a "nicer" look at the Kings Bread.

I've searched for tips on this strain and the only one is it's not easy to grow. The 3 key nutrients are N,K & P. Potassium deficiency seems very common regardless of strain. This might be a strain someone needs to work with a while. It's described as a landrace sativa from Jamaica but I can say I've read that there are no strains native to Jamaica. So I wonder if it's not a cross. The smoke reports sound great! I'm a sativa fan.

Gave them Kale yesterday and a pinch of Epsom salts. That TS600 on the right is 8" from the top. ;)
