Going down the Alaska Highway. Had my daughter and her boyfriend with me. Stopped to camp at Whitehorse and went to the Wal Mart there. The boyfriend allowed as to how he could get bud anywhere. Told him knock himself out.

Goes up to a long haired Native and asks. "Get fucked, kid. What do I look like to you?"

Then the Native wanders off. Goes and tells his nephew who was buying a DVD player. And he's got some absolute fire in the car.

Then get to Stony Plain or something like that outside Calgary and get a room. The kids wander off and the first cat they run into can help them. More kickass homegrown. Got a fat 1/8 for $30 Canadian. Love going through Canada.

Yep local services here offering weed at 40-50 a zip delivered. You can barley give it away here.
Stores on every corner selling the same shit from each store. NO store can buy privately. Not allowed

I think they're referring to black market growers not being able to charge people $300 an ounce since people that used to buy would now rather just go to a legal dispensary which makes the cost of black market weed go down as the customer base has shrunk significantly.



I've been talking about that for years. Outside of the weed connoisseurs on forums the majority of people don't really care and would rather buy from a legal dispensary than some black market dealer regardless of quality. Then there's all the choices available at the dispensaries. Not everyone is chasing high THC or what looks great in a bag. They like the convenience of just going to the store as if they were picking up milk and eggs.

No what iam saying is the stores charge so much it leaves room for mom an pop in the gray market.

The dispo bud I get around here in the us, is pretty weak. I got some gg#4 not too long ago, no frost, and what taste it did have, wasn't all that pleasant. For what they charge for it, they can keep it. I'll grow my own.

You’ll see that in every dispo bud. That’s why I was saying I go to an illegal dispo when I need to (assuming it’s illegal). It more like hitting the guy in the corner. There was an illegal dispo here when we first went legal. Theirshit was pretty good actually. It only lasted about a month before they got raided. Lol

My fav spot got raided twice! So maybe they are not illegal But no security. No ID needed. Just walk in walk out. They weigh it and place it in a dollar store sandwich baggy. They grow all the weed they supply. Shop is a broken down gas station in the hood. I love it. Every strain they carry is gas. Every time. Reminds me of hitting the beach over summer in 09’.

And that’s their clones for sale as well. All stuff they grow. I think they’re link with Berner in the bay. Only way they’re open still. Idk

Crazy times indeed, I was over at family dinner last weekend in Cambridge. And my one cousin was showing me a 1/2 p he just got from some MOM for $300 ! And it actually looked and smelled pretty decent…..I didn’t try any though. He has some lp pre rolls that he offered me instead and they weren’t too bad either.

True. Back when I was young a friend and I stopped at the Outer Banks, NC to retrieve some of her belongings before planning on moving out west. Our car was acting up while we were there, so we took it to a shop out in the boonies of the mainland. The owner was an 70+ year old redneck who seemed very small town minded. While we were talking to him he asked where we were headed, so we told him Humboldt. He was like, "There's a lot of good pot in Humboldt. Are you planning on trimming?" This blew me away because it was like '99, and this guy didn't seem like the type to ever smoke, let along be in the know. So my takeaway was you never really know who knows what.

I picked up an 1/8th of Amsterdam Sativa in a local shop last week for $25. Not sure if the shops around here will last long if they sell some of what others are talking about in the dispensaries. They got away with crap the first year but it's gotten a lot better. It's still not as good as homegrown or some of the grey market I've ordered before. It's perfectly acceptable for me though.

Maybe cartel affiliate. Would make a lot of sense. When I go there. I make it worth the trip. I just never can catch them with clones when I need them. Which is now! Lol.
Everyone iv taken there won’t go back. But the like I said. They carry stuff NOBODY does.

I don’t know what their deal is. I don’t care. I hope they stay open forever lmao
