Foliage sparying

Hi guys anyone just foliage spay to feed there plants and feed there soil with something that dose not leave saults ?

There are some benefits to foliar …. Mag sulfate / silica / etc.

But most of your feeding should be at root level.

I don't spray my plants. They eat from the roots.

Keep in mind there are compounds that are taken in by tissue better than roots under certain circumstances.

I wouldn't foliar unless something needs to be amended with a compound that could throw out the balance of the medium.

I make a tea and spray the plant and IV had really good effect on growth I stop when my plants in flower

Agreed i foliar spray and use silica in that spray but feed my plant through top dressings so my uptake is at root level but I use the silica to strengthen my plant and create more uptake or a overall stronger plant

IV not used silica yet my plants r always short and compact think that's fastbuds seeds there autos don't grow to tall I spray in calcium which I make from egg shell and lemon juice

Yeah that’s fine just do low doses in foliar spray like if you do a quarter when feeding your medium only do an 1/8th when foliar spraying
