Solo cup challenge 21/22

These were the only solo cup challenge I've participated in. During my 1st grow. Didn't go well for me.


Still debating this but I'd have to pop like 4 beans hoping for a female. Only have Auto regs on hand.
Would points be added or deducted for mature seeds?

I wonder how many times people have done this and then blamed the breeder for the seed not popping

That would be the ultimate stoner moment I always go digging if something doesn't pop

These are from an older set of seeds i stored. They will get a hydrogen peroxide “ presoak “ . Not sure on medium i plan to run them on yet.

Well decided to put the pipe down just a minute ……

Hydrogen Peroxide presoak in diluted water for 30 minutes.
‘Rapid Rooters‘ are soaking in a mild Clonex solution and will added to tray.
Seedling warming mat for these chillier nights …

Once popped …. Tray will be under Sunblaster T5HO 6500k .

I am working on a layered mix for 2 of them and the others will be decided later.

Canna x Cheese (unintentional F2) by Mephisto
Happy Frog amended with some EWC, Dr.Earth, Tomato Tone, and Green Sand.
12/12 from seed, under 135 watt HLG Quantum Board

Edit: definitely not F2, there was no male involved. Seeds came from plants grown from original pack (5 plants total). All fem seeds, so something hermed, maybe more than 1 plant who knows... maybe S2?

Clear not good right? If those roots grow to the side of thr xup(which they will) won't thr lights burn thrm roots up?

That's what I've read but haven't tested it myself. Naturally they are not exposed to light so idk

Hey I have another qeustion off topic. I mixed up my PH testing powder in a Mason jar with a sealed lid. How long will it stay good for?

I was going to leave it clear but, maybe for my roots sake I will do a layer of duct tape around the outside of the cup

Do you mean like for re-calibrating the PH pen? I'm not sure, I didn't think of saving the solution when I first calibrated mine back when... maybe someone else will chime in

damn things took 2 days to pop up after sprouting.... one looks not so healthy but that's okay because I only can grow 4
