Question about drying and loss of smell

It's the craziest thing...I literally smoked a joint from jarred weed that's been jarred for only 10 hrs, taste real green and chlorophyll like. I then smoked a joint from a freshly picked bud from a hanging plant that's been hanging for 10 days and its straight fire!....I'm afraid to jar my weed. I'm afraid its gonna end up like shit and this isn't the first time this has happened.... what gives?

Use the CPR method. Works every time.

Ok
I think you jarred weed that wasn’t dried and then compared to weed dried
Drying weed is a knack but if you have a dedicated room and control the environment you can duplicate the results again and again
But just trying to hang in a tent and hoping for dank is a fools errand
I’m glad you got something you consider “fire”
But it has little to do with a jar

The weird thing is that when I take a bud off of the drying plant and smoke it, it taste great but if I were to put that same bud in a jar it taste planty. I'm drying in a room that's pretty cold at 58 degrees and humidity at 60 percent it's been 10 days. When should consider jarring? When the stem snaps or what?

If ya like it dried then just dry it completely
At least it won’t mold
Most growers don’t even get to the point there plants are ripe like yours
Just do what you like to smoke
My 2c

Should I lower my rh to 55 since my temps are in the mid 50's range? Seems like the cold air is gonna make take forever to dry.
