I've been reading stories for months about these wack jobs attacking medical staff. They say the doctors and nurses are murderers for not giving quack treatments.

I hope they're handling it correctly. If someone puts hands on staff, call police and press charges. Just keep going until they're all in jail, or decide to act like adults. There's no room for leniency in that scenario.

CDC chief on omicron cases: 'There is really no need to panic'
Rochelle Walensky, director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said on Wednesday that "there is really no need to panic" as COVID-19 cases begin to surge amid the spread of the omicron variant.

Appearing on NBC's "Today," Walensky told anchor Craig Melvin that 73 percent of coronavirus cases in the U.S. are now attributable to the omicron variant, which she said was "expected" due to the variant's rapid rate of spread.

"I do want to remind people that we are in a very different place than we were a year ago," Walensky said. "We have vaccines. We have boosters, and we have all the science that demonstrates the prevention interventions like masking in indoor settings work to mitigate the spread of this virus."

Walensky acknowledged that the omicron variant emerged quickly, noting that news of its first detection only broke about a month ago.
While the Biden administration has moved to free up more COVID-19 testing and provide more support to hospitals dealing with the surge, Walensky said, "We recognize we have more work to do."

at that point they need to check that patient out and let them go home to convalescence. Let their family tend to them and give. The can have as many bleach enemas as they wish.

From yesterday.

"The traffic here in Park City Utah was Manhattan like yesterday as the slopes were closing. The town is jam packed and literally no one is masked. It is as if COVID does not exist and never has. Here is the thing, Vaxxed and Unvaxxed people look very similar to me at first sight."
there's a vaxx key:

mask = vaxx

no mask, mask under nose (Trumpers as a sign of defiance), mask handed to customer at Target door and she throws it on the ground. REPORTED! = non-compliant vaxx antibody load questionable..including women from elevator who takes off mask to talk on the phone- people can hear you through the mask if your push air through your larynx and flap your gums.

there's a lot of borderline people out West.

Yesterday or today I heard something on NPR that I hadn't thought about. With millions of at home Covid-19 test we will never know the real numbers again.

Edit: of cases. We will know the number that dies.

we don't know the real numbers now, just the ones that come in for a test, many are asymptomatic, or it's mild and they assume it a cold or the flu, and never go get tested.

My cleaning guy at work caught Delta. He missed about a week of work. His girlfriend lost her smell and taste, but never went and got tested. She works at the dollar store and only stayed home three days before going back to work. I understand they are poor as fuck, so they felt they had no other choice. But still. . . . . .

i'll finish your sentence (please indulge me). But still we are entering our most dangerous phase of Covid with two variants that didn't exist on 1/20. When money ran out in September they did nothing to assist financially so sick people can stay home- which curiously was the whole FVCKING POINT!

According to the Biden Administration the Pandemic is still officially over January 1, 2022.
