So I'm fairly new to Autos and I see you eliminate alot of lower branches. When do you start doing that on autos while in flower stage a little at a time ?
I thinned out some leaves on the top that would cover the lower buds from the light.
I didnt thin out my white widow autos a lot. The one was a stick and didnt need to trim that one. The xmas tree shaped one I did remove some leaves not getting light in the bottom half late veg/early flower. I also heat stressed it with the lights and low humidity which messed up alot of the leaves so I took them as they died.
The 2 super skunks are photoperiod plants. I heavily pruned them in vegetative and I pruned it in flower only the upper ones that were covering the middle to let light shine down. I left fan leaves on each branch on the outer parts of the bush. I tried to prune everything under halfway down the plant which I think they call lollipopping so energy goes to the buds and not larf or shaded leaves below.
I pruned it a bit then waited 2-3 days then pruned a bit more. You shouldnt take more than 50% of the plants leaves and try to keep as many big fan leaves as you can as they are the main energy makers or you wont get fat nugs with hardly any fan leaves.
Im a beginner this is just stuff I read about when I researching last Aug before I started my first grow.
