Led Light Advice

I only have a small space so going with a 75x75x160(cm) bud box tent but I am stuck on which light to go for. I've been looking at the telos 008 but I am unsure if it will be suitable for this space. Also been looking at ceramic hps lights too, what's better led or ceramic hps? and which would be more suited to my tent?.

Thanks.

If you're in europe this would be a great choice. There's a ppfd map for a 60*60cm space on the site. Not as fancy looking as some, but the plants won't care.

What is your budget and cooling should be considered
Oh
And WELCOME to RIU :weed:
I have in take, clip on's and exhaust fans from a previous run. I don't have a budget I just want something that will be fit for the space and give me the opportunity to pull off some decent bud, if it means paying extra then so be it.

Go LED for electric bill and heat. Full spectrum. Anything over 200 watts in that space should really produce. That Zeus looks interesting.

SZHLUX 4000W LED Grow Light 6×6ft Coverage Dual Switch Full Spectrum Grow Lamp for Indoor Plants, Sunlight Plant Light 864 LEDs for Hydroponic Seedling Veg and Bloom Greenhouse Growing Light Fixtures https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MF2247G/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_Q83AZDPNSFKR3EW10TDY

Bought my daughter one of these. Almost 1000 diodes. No dimmer. Pulls 400 watts at the wall and is very cheap. But bright and durable.

I think you mean CMH (ceramic metal halide). A 315 would work great. But so could LED.

I need to drop my electric bill lol I'm still running 8 x 1000w Double-Ended Gavita's... VEG is already converted to Growers Choice ROI-720 fixtures but swapping my 1000s with that would be almost $7,000 in itself with just above inventory pricing after tax.. In winter the 3 ton doesn't even run hardly unless I have everything cranking 100%.

HLG 100 isn't dimmable though. I have 3 and they're great, but that's my only complaint. You can get the dimmers for the 65's though.

But neither is my recommendation really for this setup.

I'd spring $300 for the Growers Choice smart controller for the lights. I'm really impressed with them in 2 operations here.

I'm considering the switch in my bloom room so that'd justify that purchase. Right now I just walk in veg and set them to 75% and hang them pretty high above the plants, say 3 feet or so.. Temps stay a stable 77-80 lights on 70-72 lights off and I've got a Quest 110 keeping it at 55% humidity in there.

Not to thread jack but 1 thing I noticed with LEDs in bloom is huge loss in yield and smaller little hard buds that ends up not justifying the cost savings. I'm a caregiver so I've got many people I provide concentrates & flower to and can't really risk losing yield. I'll probably switch a row out for them and see what happens. I've got 2 x 5'x20' canopies.

Increase your temps, 80-85 is my sweet spot for led and my yield/sqft is a little better with led but yield/watt is about 2x

I know it enough light, done all the tests,
24w ft2 was overkill for my plants 30" above the canopy
canopy under led purple.JPG
my friends got some good results from this design(75cm x 75cm)
worked about 600 par over the centre, 2ft2 , drops to 400 in the corners and 500 on the edges.

The Lumatek ats200w looks good, with high reflective walls, you should have a light spread of 800 centre and down to 600 at the sides @12"
(really you need to keep all the canopy between 450 and 750 for the best results) indica strains need less light and Sativa need more.
A small extractor fan will help to keep the temps in range and increase the humidity.
