ı grow coco. ı use advanced nutriens. I bought a purpinator to increase the purple pigment of my flowers. but a friend of mine said that you can't mix advanced nutrients with any other fertilizer brand. is this true? he said that when he adds another brand of fertilizer, the ph balance of the water deteriorates.

Purpinator doesn't do anything in terms of making the bud purple. Lower temps at the end flower and genetics brings out the purple but I personally don't like purple phenos, it's the plants inability to fully photosynthesize.

That doesn't mean there's good purple strain but the spectrum of effect is almost always much narrower on purple strains from my experience. Many people do prefer this.

help pls. ı am new grower
Most additives are pure marketing schemes
And no one is better at marketing than A&N
If the answer was in a bottle we would all use it
When I ran A&N I learned that it didn’t do any better than cheaper all in one nutrients
So my advice is save the money and switch a cheaper product like Jacks

the bad thing is that I already bought it 1 month ago. I do not recommend using it with my friend an. he said it's not being used. I thought I'd ask the professionals anyway. is it a problem when I use it?

Yes you can …. But that product including “ terpinator “ are designed to remove money from your wallet.
Most times they hide actual ingredients behind “ proprietary blend “ bullshit. They list simple PK numbers - which can be done with simple amendments like Potash and Sulphur.

You literally can buy bags of elemental minerals instead of colorful labeled nonsense.

We all have bought plenty of grow gear with regret
You are asking the right question just to late

Yep. I have a several bottles of fertiliser I will never use on my weed. They'll end up being used on the garden.

@420foreverQQ Down the years I have bought into the different nutrient lines and mixed up all manner of potions, believing the hype. What I have learned is that they are mostly snake oil. My advice is to find a basic fertiliser and stick with it. I am using Liquid Seaweed Tomato food, cheap organic PK and Epsom Salts from the bathing section of Home Bargains. I am now growing the best weed of my life, every day the results impress me a little more. My wife is a sucker for a purple plant. I had a Auto go randomly purple in the summer, just a weird phenotype, it was crap, The smoke was actually decent, but it was a spindly thing that didn't yield.

Elemental, not so much.

I would not want to have that much elemental K at hand.

OK I’d like a fat wad of potassium metal! But I’m bad like that.
