Fan leave doing handstand why?

Was checking my purple kush grow closet lights been on for 2 hrs now. I never seen them reach up almost 90 degree angle. I may have raised the light an Inch other day. As it grows I measure 13" with my measuring tape.

I've read online that praying is too much or too little light. Others say if they pray then you found the sweet spot.

Anyone can clarify the praying leaves situation and is it so high because it's too far?

So far she likes the Maxibloom Lucas Formula
The complete crop from Element Nutrients is not doing so well. There's either nutrient deficiency or nutes were too strong last week.. The Mg in 5g per gal is only like 26ppm but my tap water comes from town and it's Shenandoah river water. Ppm is 170 to 200. So there should be enough Ca and Mg

I use lux apps on my phone to try to get right distance but online it says they don't work with LEDs and too close burns them.

The plants look great for now, and the praying is spot on.. Looks good, and are healthy.
I also agree you need a light upgrade.

You need about 42.5 watts sq/ft for maximum growth. And you need to use Samsung/Osram LED. Look into HGL, especially for the money.

For those who haven't totally forgotten about Craigslist that thing has all kinds of used grow equipment. Including lights. Saw a couple of HLG 350 for $60 apiece and several Gorilla shorty tents. No story in the ad but I'm guessing short tent with a warm light and it weren't no fun.

They will get the Mars Hydro TS3000 in the grow tent soon. Waiting on those Super Skunks to finish up. Maybe 1 more week.
Im planning like 8-9 week veg on these Purple Kushs. I can grow up to 4 ft plants in the grow tent. The one super skunk I topped only got like 27" tall.
Had to put it on a 5gal bucket to level the canopy cause the other 2 plants were 41-44in tall.

Im only running the Veg switch. If you turn Veg and Bloom both on the light intensity increases. I was just using that closet and my old LEDs to get 4 plants going to cut back on time on 2nd grow.

Go to Amazon and price a "2000 watt" or higher LED. What you are interested in is in the product details section. Watts used. You want something using 200 watts or more. The more the better. If it dims it can't be too powerful. If it fits in the tent run it.

They didnt have an exhaust. I actually have a 2X4 grow tent. Opulent sent me the worng cover size when I ordered on Amazon. They resent me a 4X4 cover and I didnt have to return the other. But I had no poles for it. I bought PVC and made a decent frame with bars across on top. I had it in the closet but was trying to figure out where to cut holes in the closet for exhaust and intake. I have an extra 4" AC Infinity exhaust system with carbon filter. It wasnt keeping up with the heat in Sept and Early Oct well had to install a 12" fan in the ceiling hole connected to a temp controller. It would turn on at 79F and cool it to 76F. It kicked on every 9 mins roughly. Caused a pretty good draft in the tent. They seemed to love the extra air.
Ill be using the exhaust to supplement heat my 1 floor cottage to save on heating oil as soon as I put them in the tent.

Saying LED because the savings monthly for running one pay for it in no time. Compared to HID. Plus no heat issues that clip on fans can't handle when used with an exhaust fan.

you trust a light that’s ticketed for 500$+ new for a mere 60$? Yikes
I get shopping for a deal but if doing this has shown me something; it’s you get what you pay for…

a 350 in a shorty must have been fun for them. I think that light specs to have 12-15” top clearance for heat dissipation unless using a fan. Poor guy lost like a 1/3 of space just hanging a light

I'm running an Opulent Systems 5' tent. I like it. But everything came the same size. That sucks you had to improvise.

This guy had a list a mile long. The 2 HLG were just 2 lines. Ventilation equipment, really good variable speed fans, carbon cannisters.

Ya know everything was pretty cheap. What's the chances this guy the equipment belongs to is a dog and his old lady ran him off and is selling his gear?

This was in Michigan. I was checking for tents for my daughter. She's in southwest Michigan. I saw quite a bit of gear in the southwest Michigan, Illinois and Indiana lists.

Everything is precious in Alaska. But there's sales of grow equipment on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace.

Heres Mars Hydros recommendations for the TS3000

Says in flower 100% Dimmer and 12" distance from canopy.
I put it 15" on 100% but I lowered my humidity to 35% cause I thought it was further along in flower.
It caused the autos to get crispy yellow brown leaves. Others showed calcium deficiency because of it.
I lowered light level to 65-70% Dimmer at same distance and increased humidity from 35 to 40-50%
I'm lowering it back down in the tent now to 35% to try to get them to ripen up and make more resin.
