They dry out too quickly. Very often you'd water them and the water would drain out the sides. They are a bastard to clean. I grow in a loft and they are difficult to lift through the hatch. They grow algae on the outside. I used them for two grows and I don't believe I got a single gram more weed, in fact all that increased was my work load and my water bill.

Water drainage forced out the sides is a very common symptom of hydrophobic soil. Water is absorbed like a sponge. Not directed thru mini creeks in the medium. But I agree. You have to water perfect damn near every time
They are not flowering, some lights are front 250 to 600 but put them down to make 20 to max 24,5 C. Next week will go to flowering room which is bigger and better conditioning

Use a couple of drops of liquid dishwashing soap in feeds or water to fight hydrophobic mediums. Use it every time.

I had to question that on google to be safe lol.
In the summer they were drying out in 6 hours, when you have to lift water through a loft hatch a gallon at a time it becomes a real pain in the ass. TBH I am not saying bags suck, they just aren't the best in my scenario. I have gone back to plastic, just 50% bigger, 4 Imperial Gallons, they grow so much bigger and need watering less often. After the summer I am going to upgrade to SIPs.

Wrong. Dry coco is hydrophobic.
TBH I am using Peat Free soil and I feel that it holds water better than peat based.
The coco brick I dropped in water yesterday says otherwise
