Stopping PM or almost eliminating it was an eye opener.I was prepared to hear him blow up Silica. Was disappointed to learn it's legit lol

When he said that trichomes are mainly composed of silica my brain melted a little
That's conflicting information. Buggbee has said that uv is helpful beforeI like the part about uv not making a difference. I almost bought a uv bar.
It's funny you say that, because I thought the same thing. I thought him and Shane from migro talked about it? I can't remember now. LolThat's conflicting information. Buggbee has said that uv is helpful before
Start at 23:00. Seems you don't know what you're talking about.
LMAO EVEN HARDER!!!!
You're right. I'm just fucking with you. Relax.I'll just point to my NASA article again:
"In reality, the soil on Mars actually does have the nutrients plants would need to survive on Mars! There may not be the right amount of nutrients depending on where astronauts land on the Red Planet, so fertilizers may need to be added to the soil. The perchlorates in the soil would be leached out and separated from the water. "
Can Plants Grow with Mars Soil?
In “The Martian,” Mark Watney uses the Martian soil to grow potatoes in the controlled environment of the “Hab.” In reality, the soil on Mars has the nutrients plants would need to survive on Mars.www.nasa.gov
Again, the initial comment I replied to made the claim that I should know that any humans on Mars would be growing plants in hydroponic mediums, not the actual Martian soil. My NASA link proves that's not necessarily the case, and that NASA is looking into growing in the soil itself by rinsing out the perchlorates first and adding fertilizers.
So the claim that any growing on Mars would be entirely hydroponic and not growing in Martian soil is not necessarily true. Your video interview doesn't disprove that.
I watched his YouTube channel that's where I got it fromIt's funny you say that, because I thought the same thing. I thought him and Shane from migro talked about it? I can't remember now. Lol
Ok maybe that's where I remember it. Some of the first videos I watched on lighting were from him. I believe it was from him that I first heard about plants using green light as well.I watched his YouTube channel that'd where I got it from
They discovered water in the giant canyon on Mars recentlyMaybe on Mars you'd naturally go to hydro first, because accessing water is the absolute first thing. Then you run a planetary dtw hydro system and take the waste water to amend the Martian soil before you grow in the ground.
Dude is a genius for sure though he recently made the call for far red to be included in PAR measurementsOk maybe that's where I remember it. Some of the first videos I watched on lighting were from him. I believe it was from him that I first heard about plants using green light as well.
Mars doesn't really have a soil. Soil needs life and organic matter. I don't believe there's a lot of either, but it'll definitely be rich in mineral nutrient. We'll need to bring some peat and worms for castings and composting.Maybe on Mars you'd naturally go to hydro first, because accessing water is the absolute first thing. Lol means we'll be seeing new lights soon including them. It'll be a reason to buy a new light.Dude is a genius for sure though he recently made the call for far red to be included in PAR measurements
So will "about a pound" be accurate on Mars since it has less gravity than Earth? it'll be more like a third of a pound i think?Mars doesn't really have a soil. Soil needs life and organic matter. i added some of those growmaus far red pucks mainly for Emerson effectLol means we'll be seeing new lights soon including them. It'll be a reason to buy a new light.

I thought that I heard or read that peat was bad for your plants... I learned a whole lot from this one video...Yea I was thinking the same thing when he started talking about it.
Peat has been one of the primary choices of growing medium for weed for a long time. Interesting you thought that. Why did you get angry at my post?I thought that I heard or read that peat was bad for your plants... I learned a whole lot from this one video...
