Some Growing Math

I was doing some math on my (potential) crop and wanted to run it by y'all to see if it makes sense...

If I am growing in a 4X4 tent in a Screen of Green configuration(my whole footprint is covered in green 2 feet thick),
UNDER IDEAL CONDITIONS (but no CO2),
and growing an AVERAGE YIELDING strain,
I SHOULD harvest 1.5LBS dry bud - am I generally correct in this assumption?

IF SO
1.5LBS = 24Ozs
24Ozs X $250 = $6000 :shock:

How much should I expect to spend on a setup to produce those results?
$1,000??

That gives me an almost 5X return on investment(ROI). Then this goes up to 10X or more!
"Cryptocurrency" me all you want but if you want a solid investment look into Growing Your Own and save for life!

Meh... I grow for personal use only. I wouldn't even sell it to be honest. Worth too much to me. Unless someone wants to pay me $200/an 8th and even then.
Hey since we're doing stoner math does that mean I smoke $60/a gram shit? Damn I'm a top shelf snob all of a sudden! :lol:

It sounds like you don't even have anything yet, and are just daydreaming.

Anyways, 24 x $250 = $6000. But good luck with that.

That was not clear. I would dedicate my first three grows to learning from the mistakes. By grow four you will have a good idea what your real numbers will be.

But who buys 24 ozies of dispensary weed every three months? Are you keeping an old rich guy happy?

I did say "Grow Your Own" but since everyone missed it then it's obvi on me!

hahaha thanks I missed that. For what it's worth my original mistake was thinking 1.5lbs was 21 ozs. I then realized it's 24 ozs and updated the left side but not the right side of the equation. Stupid me.

Even so, my point stands. Work up to what you know you can do, and scale back to reflect a believable one-person use rate. Now that we are assured this isn’t a commercial scheme.
