Ha Ha my first real grow. Man I keep screwing things up.:hump: Had four plants moved to flower 2 turned out male so I go to hack them out first no prob second (yea I was baked) took the cutters to the wrong plant!!:confused: Cut about a quater of the way through before I caught myself. Don't know if she is going to make it but we will see.

Moved 4 more over to flower the will be 2 to 3 weeks behind the other two but it looks like all four are girls Wooopeeee. Yesterday while checking on the girls I noticed my light was looking a littler dirty so I started to look online for a new bulb as back up. Got my lights from a friend told me it was a 400w hps. Well it turns out it is a switchable ballest and I have been flowering with a MH bulb for the last month:wall:

Ran out to homedepot adn grabed a hps bulb now this is a Phillips Clear. Will this bulb work? or should I order a better bulb. This is starting to add up I think I order something new every other day never thought it was going to be this envolved but I guess that is why everyone doesn't grow thier own. At least this grow is just bagseed and I will learn from my mistakes. Starting a new grow next week with good beans hope to make it through with fewer mistakes:-?.

All in all having a good time with first try

Sucks about cutting your plant.

I'm pretty sure that light will work, how many lumens did it say on the package? and how many plants?:peace:

Yeah that's plenty of lumens. Um i'm not 100% sure but maybe you could find something to seal the cut on that plant. I'm not sure.

It's been about a week since I cut it got a little droopy but seems to be comming back and still producing bud. I am keeping my hope up not going in there stoned anymoreLOL. But I love just going down and looking at them ha ha silly I know

Think I will go back today they have three more of those bulbs at $19 per. Just buy them all for future use

No, I have a chair sitting it my room i read hightimes for a few hours a day and just chill.

It's nice cause it's kinda like being outside, but it's to cold to be outside here.
But yeah sometimes i catch myself just looking at them.:mrgreen:

Too cool ran me 21 and some change plus the 12 mile drive to the store to get one bulb. 19.90 and I don't have to leave the house yea buddy thats for me!!

well i ve read that hps and mh bought at home depot do not work as well as an actual hps/mh grow bulb, its not like it dosent work it just isn't as efficent.. i wish i could find 400 watt grow bulbs for 20.00$
