Looking into some automation myself. Ideally, I'd like to just turn a valve on each plant that needs feeding, and just watch it happen, then suck up the run off. Im currently taking a break from hand feeding 36, 7 gallon pots while the next 50 gallons is mixing. I like to let it circulate for about 30 min to bust the chill off. My well water is cold AF.

Eventually we will be running filters and solenoids for each table to be ran into a single mannifold that will lead to a few 30psi lines for each plant.

When that happens their will be valves for each table to isolate tables but besides that controlling fertigation with the lines, cap the plants you don't want to get water or cap a few lines

Right. I have 87 total, and usually run that many at a time. I'd like to set up a drip ring around all the plants, and when they need feed, just flip that plants valve for a feeding... Im gonna have to think about this for a minute, but I'd like to have something up and running by mid year.

each room has 6-12 tables , rooms will set off 5 min after lights on and will stage 1 table at a time with a min off between tables running. initial fert times will be however long the system can flow about 300ml 3-5 times a day., incrementally upping them weekly

you can set the rain bird up for zones and tables to have individual run times .

allthough our markleting team is pushing big for trolmaster so , it will probably all be operated by a trolmaster

You guys ever look into blumats? Not sure how feasible they are for bigger ops such as yourselves but figured I'd throw it out there. Once set up right they are pretty set and forget. You can adjust each plant's moisture level to your liking individually if your using pots.
They just let the plants drink whenever they want.

Idk, I'd have to look into what it takes to use them. But really any automated fertigation works, capillary mats or Drippers...

Things what we consider is ease of cleaning maintenance, replacement, time the system impedes Cleaning, watering trellis, harvest.

Def be cool to have some capillary mats, just used to the Drip lines and floraflex tops

I've only used the cones in my little tent with pots. But I know they make other stuff like drip tape/hose and those capillary mats but I haven't saw anyone using the mats, I've seen a few people using the soaker hose.
As far as parts for me using the carrots, it's just a rez some 8mm line and some 3mm line, plus I bought some filters for after my res that I can take out anytime using quick connect on/off valves I bought. Most guys I've seen clean everything after every grow just to be safe. The lines are small fr blumats so our nutes need to be clean and dissolve into water good.
Most people use gravity feed but it makes your pressure fluctuate which could cause problems but when you use a pump with pressure reducer it gives you constant even pressure and in turn you don't have any issues. Only issue I saw someone have whiles using the pressure reducer was the screen in the reducer clogged after a long time of use to which now they clean the reducer screen.
There's some great threads on RIU about blumats
