Producing seeds from one Feminized Autoflower

I'm going to plant a feminized autoflower seed bought from dutch-passion and I would like to get seeds out of it.

My goal is to produce pollen from one branch and to pollinate the other branches' flowers with it to produce seeds

As I've understood, I either need to spray STS, Colloidal Silver or Gibberellic acid on one branch to achieve this.
What is not clear to me is when should I do this as the majority of the tutorials are for photoperiodics.
I've only found a tutorial for producing seeds with STS on autoflowers but I don't know if the process is the same for the other chemicals.

Could anyone make it clearer for me, give me suggestions or explain the process?

I've also found these threads but they're not specific to autos:
https://www.rollitup.org/t/seed-production-a-tutorial.20319/

Thanks for any help and sorry for any eventual grammatical errors, english is not my mothertongue.

Personally, I'd stick with STS.
If you start to spray as soon as the auto shows sex, you should be okay. May have to run a bit longer to let seeds mature.
When I did this, I pollinated the lower half only. Harvested the top when ready and let the seeded half go for another 2 weeks just to be safe.

Ideally with auto's you start the plant you intend to reverse ~2.5 weeks before the plant(s) you intend to pollinate.

Thanks, but I'm going to have just one plant, intend to reverse just a branch to pollinate the rest of the plant. What do you think I should do in this situation?

Protect the rest of the plant 1st before spraying. I'd turn the fans off for that moment as well. On an auto.. I would spray 2 weeks into veg on the areas you want to reverse. tag that branch/area with a breadtie or something so you don't confuse it. Spray those areas daily (While protecting the rest of the plant) until you see sacks growing. Leave that branch tagged... and remove/discard seperate from your harvest. Save whatever pollen you can collect, and freeze it til you want to use it again.

I did spray a clone I left in a solo cup pretty late.. I still got her to reverse tho.

I forget which site I read this on, but in a nutshell, this guy on there was preaching not to grow the seeds that come from the reversed plant itself, but rather let the reversed plant pollinate another female plant of the same strain. He called them seeds "trash", not sure if its true or not, maybe someone else can chime in on this

That guy didn't know what he was talking about.

I prefer the S1 (self pollinated) seeds. I've only been doing this a couple of years with auto's, but in my experience it seems like the S1 show almost no variance and are my preferred choice when I'm picking between the two.

On the STS , did it say how often to spray the plant. I’ve only been able to find info on photo period plants not autos & STS

I asked this same question a few days ago in Advanced Growing and have gotten very little help. I want to S1 a White Widow Auto, as I have only one seed left, but want to retain only WW genes.

The problem seems to be that by the time you get pollen the rest of the flowers are too far along to pollenate.

When I was deciding to make some seeds I remember reading that you need to spray every 4 to 5 days before lights out.
I went with CS because STS will stain your skin and I'm not super careful. (:
STS supplies were like $20 plus I didn't have any amble bottles.
CS was free as I made my own.

All the info I’ve seen on STS is you spray once a week but the only STS info I can find is about photo period plants until I saw this thread. I’m afraid if I spray as often as you spray with CS, I will damage or stunt the growth. I’ve used CS a lot in the past but it’s not working well on the newer strains I’m trying.

There are a couple of sts-auto videos on you tube.
I remember him saying do not spray everyday for sure.
I'll have to search tomorrow as I need to go to bed now.

I only do auto's myself with CS but I'm sure with STS you would spray on the same schedule as a photo period plant. Pretty sure they spray just before they flip. So start spraying the auto once a week when it's well into showing sex.

I self pollinate (S1) auto's all the time, it's not a problem. Spray 1 bottom branch with CS or STS and self pollinate another single branch. 1 branch is going to give you all the seeds you will ever need. Harvest the rest on schedule and harvest the pollinated branch 5 weeks after pollination.

The big question is... Is it safe to smoke the rest of the plant if one branch is sprayed with CS/STS...... I don't think anyone can give a good answer to this unless someone spends some cash and gets some bud tested after. My bro science says that if the silver/sts was mobile within the plant that it would cause male sacs to show up in the rest of the plant.. But I'm no Dr. so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I do the same method you do for S1, but I use a collar when I spray a lower branch with CS. I harvest as usual - consumable buds and seeds .
I cut a collar from a standard solo cup to control “ drift “ And only target the nodes of said branch , once balls express , i clip branch and water cup it til ready …. Micro brush whatever branch I chose ( marked with tag ) …… then let go.

IME, with autos, you pick your branch to treat as soon as you see her first pistils. I've used STS successfully 2/2 attempts on autos so I'm no expert either, but I smoked the rest of Both plants, NOT the treated branch, with no apparent ill effects.

So spray STS every 4-7 days on one branch from first pistils, and get pollen, then use it on the branches you want to seed? Neat collar idea I'll use that!

a little off topic but have you noticed the branch you spray will grow 2x as fast as the corresponding branch on the other side ? I've been wondering if it's the act of misting the branch 3 times a day or if it's because males tend to grow faster. Even though it's not really a "male".

Sorry man, I couldn't find anything for you.
None were one branch sts on autos. There is a guy by the
handle of "Pollen Sax" that was using sts on autos every 3 days.
Had a bunch of videos on the process.
