So i live in a hard water area and grow in dwc and have always had PH issues since i can remember! here’s a breakdown of whats in my water, doesn’t mean too much to me as to whether or it’s usable or I’m pretty much wasting my time chasing PH.
ec reads 0.5 on truncheon. Thanks peeps

The base pH range is extremely wide. Everything else looks acceptable. What kind of drift are you experiencing? What are you putting in? Nutes and supplements etc.

Thanks for the reply man! Yea I’m normally always getting ph drop. I let my res sit overnight before using it and i also recently bought some ecothrive dechlorinator to see if that helps but still doesn’t seem too. I am using Aptus all in one base feed. Aptus super PK and Aptus top boost. I do not use cal mag because hard water.

What is your pH before adding anything and then after adding everything?
Tap Ph is normally 7.4ish maybe a little higher and probably somewhere similar after adding nutes. I know for sure the base feed is ph neutral and I believe top booster and super pk are slightly higher than 7 but when everything’s in it’s probably still between 7.2-7.6

And after sitting but before using what is the pH?
Practically the same, slight rise by 0.1-.2 but give to plants it drops?? Wondering if any of the stuff already in the tap water is causing lockouts og other nutes? But I never seem to be able to keep it stable regardless of how many correct protocols I follow :wall:

What do the plants look like?
Hi mate plants look ok. 32 days after 12/12 flip. I did have fairly big lockout and ph issues early flower but now I’m chasing ph every day which i will continue to do if i have to but it going to cost a fortune in top ups and res changes:wall::lol:

Definitely still not 100% but I’ve done a good job getting them back to here from where they were 2 weeks ago lol. Hopefully they look ok-ish to everyone
Seeing potassium deficiency. Suggest eliminating super p/k.

Yea thats what its always been mainly a potassium deficiency. Would that have been a result of super low ph at times (like 3.0) a few weeks back? So you would eliminate adding potassium with a potassium deficiency? Sorry man pretty high right now:mrgreen:
