@Neoliet breeders flowering times are only an approximation.
usually breeders list the following.
FLOWERING TIME - based on the quickest finishing phenotype they found within the strain
YIELD - usually the heaviest yielding phenotype they found within the strain
Unfortunately these 2 above are not often the same phenotype.
8-9 weeks from flip of 12/12 would have to be a VERY fast finishing strain.
in 12 years of growing I’m yet to find an 8 week from flip strain that is ready to where I want it to be.
9 weeks sometimes but that’s usually due to bud rot and having to harvest it early etc.
expect your flowering to last 70 days and you won’t be far away, unless you’re growing a Sativa dominant hybrid and then look towards 90-100 days.
