By "your side" I assume you mean Republican. I consider myself a Libertarian these days. That site has a lot of great articles from a Libertarian perspective.
No, I am not saying Obama is lying because Bush did. Campaign promises are campaign promises and politicians are politicians are politicians. I was excited that Obama had made that statement and I am hoping that it will amount to something, however, Bush made the same statement and the raids started under Clinton. All of them are former pot smokers (although Clinton didn't inhale).

Yeah, if you look at it closely, the picture is definitely faked. His mouth is closed and the cigarette is blurry and lit by a flash to a greater extent than his face. That must be an older picture though; he looks young.

Obama and McCain are to sides of the same coin. This pathetic 'hope' that he will be different - whatever that 'different' will be; one is not to know as serious issues were never discussed in the campaign - because he is half black is typical of the way focus is directed to superficial qualities. With Bush it was a guy you could sit down and have a beer with; with Obama it's he's black, a voice for the poor and a force of unity among Yankees. As Emma Goldman said 'If voting changed anything they'd make it illegal. Do me a favour and vote Nader 2012.
