Transplanting from FFOF to Promix??

Hey my dope people!
I currently have 18 plants in solo cups that are in ffof that I started them in because in the beginning I wanted to save myself some time on immediate maintenance. However it’s time to transplant and I’ve still got a ton of promix bx.

i plan to transplant tomorrow but I’m worried it may cause the plants issues. Anyone done this before or have an idea of what to expect or if it will be fine?

I been feeding around 6.8 in the OF because I know the existing shells in there to buffer is likely depleted so did that to be safe and today I moistened the promix at 6.9 to bring the stock ph up in that medium before transplanting. Any suggestions?

Thank yous!A56E976F-D67D-47AC-ADA7-A4E5AA19C233.jpeg

I know, I used the ph that high to bring up the ph in the pro mix to possibly lessen the shock going from a 6.6 ish ffof to a 5.8 ish promix. Hoping it sits around 6.3 in the promix just to start off. I think I’ll top the promix with some lime to be safe

I use Pro-Mix HP which comes with added lime.

One evening I read an article that claimed the amount of lime they add can break down after 2.5 to 3 months and the final few weeks you may encounter pH drift. Since I like to VEG for 10 (ish) weeks and LST some pretty big ladies, my typical grow takes 19 to 20 weeks from rooted cuttings until chop. And in previous long HP grows, some of the upper fan leaves started going pretty yellow about 1 month before the girls were ready.

After reading the article I figured WTF ... I'd give it a try. These past couple of grows with the additional lime top dress - and not altering anything as far as feed manufacturer, quantities of said feed or the source pH - that upper leaf yellowing has pretty well disappeared.
