Anyone had a plant with very noticeable circadian rhythm?

The last few plants I have grown all stayed praying during lights off, and sometimes stood up more over the first few hour of darkness. They also began to perk up just before lights on.

My latest AK has a very pronounced cycle. When lights first turn on, it is droopy as hell. Over 30-45 mins it will start to pray. About the same interval before lights off, it will do the exact same but in reverse. Just wondering if this is related to light accumulation in any way? Plants under a 120w QB in a 2.3x2.3 at 17". 850umol/s in the hot spot, about 500umol/s at pot level. 18/6. Also first plant I've seen the top leaves close up a few mins before lights out....every day.

8:30pm. Starting to droop.

9:00pm (five mins before lights out)

I would say so… dim or raise the light to see if it improves if not than its temp/Rh related (suggesting you do not just want to make a dicks of us taking fotos after watering)
Edit: supposing

Don't understand why anyone thinks that looks normal. My first guess is pH, but I don't know what your medium is, or the nutrients you're using.

Yeh you know cause transpiration isn’t normal, right?

as far as other problems with his plant, that aren’t normal, aren’t relevant to his question, that was on you Palawan.

The top leaves were my first go to with PH. They look bizzare standing up like that, almost waiting for them to start twisting.

Leftover potting mix I made for the chilli's I up potted a couple of weeks ago lol.

Basic 50/50 peat moss and compost with 20% perlite added and half assed amendments. Tbsp dolomite per gallon, something like half a cup per 40L of each Neem/kelp meal, a sprinkling of left over alfalfa meal and a few tbsp or 3:1:4 organic pellets..an absolute bastard of a mix. Tap water cause I'm lazy. Around 7.3 and 250ppm.

Been doing it ever since stretch started. Rapidly. Chilli's looking amazing in it, this plant has looked the opposite since stretch kicked about 4 or so days ago. Very sensitive to its light schedule all of a sudden.

Yea, it's just a plant out of pure boredom. Thrown in a leftover mix and free auto seeds from a mate who STS'd an AK 420...the rest of the issues I'll just grow out and see.

Was just interested In such a rapid transition. All was looking great until stretch started lol.

I might raise the light as its ending up at a DLI of nearly 60 in the hot spot and 40 on the bottom branches.

It was watered, but 10 hours earlier lol. The rapid droop before lights out is really that bad...

Mine raise and fall through the cycle when vegging. Then in flower they do it less and some just stay praying all the time but go up more after about 30mins lights on

I wouldn't usually be as concerned as I am, but the drooping is still there when the lights come on which seems off to me...It.takes them probably 45 minute to wake up. I've had a plant or two that gets a wee bit tired at then end of a shift, but this is on another level. Literally less than 30 mins in between those shots..

As someone above said, it literally looks like I've watered in between shots.

I do not see anything pH related. It is either light, VPD or your watering habbits. Not so difficult to figure out what by trial and error since you are still in veg.

I'd say your right on both counts. Going Into pre flower (maybe) just put that little bit extra stress on it...too much light, basic watering issues, compost heavy medium (used to big pots of Coco) combined with the hormonal change and it's calling it quits at the end of the day now.

I've been giving it 20% of its volume every three days (tap) over the last two weeks. I should probably try something different and see how we go..

Temps and humidity are fine (constant 29c day and 24c nights, 50-60% humidity lately. And air flow is good. I'm sure it will snap out of it. I'll raise the light 6" and see how we go..

How do you know what your plants leaves are doing at all these different times? I myself don't have a clue what my plants leaves are doing at any given time. Hell, I haven't even looked inside the flower tent for a couple days. Plants could be having a dance party for all I know.

Paragraph 2 is your "tell".

Try something else, based upon need vs timing and it should improve

My timer dies a week and a half ago lol. I've been slack and turning on the lights manually lately. Noticed the plant started looking like dog shit at lights on and off so I started investigation lol.
