mites in soil can they transfer to another pot?

its only affected one pot but the pot is in bad condition. it aint mine and i dont want it them to infect my pot

what kind of mites? they may be beneficial..and if you want something quick and simple then dilute 1 1/2 tsp hydrogen peroxide per cup of water and water it in, you should hear a fizz

i was thinking springtails but they aint big they do jump tho but that mght be me distrubing them

hmmm yeah I’m not 100% sure maybe wait for another member to chime in...if you do use hydrogen peroxide it will sterilize and kill off EVERYTHING including beneficial bacteria/fungi so do keep that into account..it wont harm the plants though if anything it’ll give it more oxygen

alright ill defo give it a go a new grower so dont really know what to do when it comes to issues like that lol, on my third now ain't had no problems with other harvests not like his lol

Springtails can be beneficial. They help break down organic matter and feed on certain carrion. They will also help transport beneficial bacterias and fungi while eating detrimental bacterias.

Some can munch on roots though, but mainly if there is a detrimental root bacterial/fungal issue.
