I have used 18/6 since the beginning I also cut down my 12/12 at start of my 2 week finish 11/13 10/14 9/15 it has worked for me for many years with good results

When you go to 12/12 are you going dark for 24-36 hrs then to 12/12 or straight to 12/12?

I just go straight to 12/12. That doesn't make sense to myself why anyone would have that sort of dark period before going in to flower but I have heard of this being done at the END of flowering.

I wonder if it's your light cycle that is causing your bud to throw nanners, or the genetics. Likely a combination of both.

It's this strain. It's Barney's Farm genetics. The good news is that they don't create pollen sacks, so it's harmless. I've run it a few times before now. It doesn't do it outdoors.

Part of why I'm killing this strain off.

If it doesn't do it outdoors, then that's evidence that it's a result of your light cycle.

It's uninterupted darkness that it needs in flower.i bet that gets 'interrupted' with more severity than the plants want, but humans ignore

It only happens with this particular strain, from feminized seed stock.

It's not the light cycle.

Honestly, it may actually throw those pistils like that outdoors too, but like I said, I didn't notice in final product and no seeds at all either way.

It's just one of those strains...

I wish I would've taken a closeup of the peyote cookies in the garden. The purple was a great contrast to everything else.

Harvested the indoor Peyote cookies today. I'm still killing off this strain because I don't like the bud structure, and the weird flowers, but I verified no seeds and those little male looking pre-flowers never grew past that. I took this run to 10 weeks flower on 8/16 light only.





100% organic soil, water only. 8/16 light schedule.

Harvested the indoor Peyote cookies today. I'm still killing off this strain because I don't like the bud structure, and the weird flowers, but I verified no seeds and those little male looking pre-flowers never grew past that. I took this run to 10 weeks flower on 8/16 light only.
