To MYCO or not to MYCO?

I know we're talking about mycos, and I use the regular Mykos at transplants, and I have the WP too that I use occasionally. The regular is plenty though. It also helps to spray the rootball and premade transplant hole with water so the Mykos sticks better.

But we were talking about humic's the other day. Gonna add 1/4 tsp of the Ful-Humix to 4 gallons plain water tonight to start. I'm sure I can raise the dosage, but I like to start small when testing new stuff.
Is that this one?

I've had fulvic/humic Acid on my list to implement next. I used the Xtreme Gardening Mykos when I germinated my seeds & also I used it when I transplanted as well as adding a bit extra to my Pro-Mix HP, which already has some. I'm doing a run of autos right now to run through some seeds and the same varieties as the last grow have been more successful in veg and early flower, getting bigger and just looking overall healthier.

I've also noticed that while the last run I couldn't feed any hotter than about 650ppm, now my plants aren't baulking at feedings in the 750-850 range and may be asking for more.

Ya, that's it.

Hey @BBPac,

Recharge has lots of plant food ingredients as well as bacteria. DYNOMYCO is a pure mycorrhizal inoculant. Both products play different roles but will work together very well. The fungi in DYNOMYCO will help pull in more nutrients for the plant and will allow the bacteria to perform their role at a much more efficient level.

Happy Growing!

This is my second grow, and I’m going to be using the freebie I got. In doing some reading I’ve found mycorrhizae and Real Growers Recharge caught my interest. What effects do these have on the plant / medium? I planned to use the same medium as my last attempt (FFOF with dry amendments).

Without being 100% positive what either does exactly I figured I’d ask for assistance to which if not both are what I’m looking for.

do either make a significant impact in plant?

I figured you guys just really wanted to make the sale.

We did one yesterday with Tad Hussey from KIS Organics and the host of "The Cannabis Cultivation and Science Podcast". Link to his podcast is below if you're interested in gaining some more insights into the world of mycorrhizal fungi with a PhD researcher.

That is honestly beautiful great job on that seriously. I am just starting to learn about enzymes, bacterias, fungi and fulvic acid so these threads and pics really help give me something greater to strive for. Well done
Thanks
It's no bs. Mycorrhizae help the root system big time. I also use hygrozyme, microbial mass and fish sh!t

Anyone wanting to grow anything in the ground or in a medium other than liquid based would benefit from reading about mycelium networks. There's a total lack of understanding just how important this is. This has been understood for years regarding forestry but is only recently being acknowledged as basically the key to plant life. Plants and trees and everything else with roots in the ground.

Once you understand the actual function of our "beneficial microbes" operate to regulate and deliver the more attention you will pay to enhancing it in your grow. Forget chlorine in the water because the effect in the ground or medium is negated in the first layers.

Do learn to use Mykos or Great White (overpriced in my opinion and loaded with strains not useful to cannabis). Learn to use Recharge and humic acid instead of molasses. Use fulvic acid to help with nutritient uptake.

You can make your own mycorrhizae innoculant. It's easy but unnecessary. A lot of hassle to save money if you can buy it. If not

I read that Humic Acid lowered thc and increased cannabinoids

I recently transplanted 12 10 gallon plants using the DYNOMYCO product in Mother Earth Coco/Perlite and they seem to be thriving and growing faster than usual believe it or not.... I followed their directions and directly put the product in the transplant hole and all on the root ball. Roots are already exploding out of the drain holes after 2 weeks and there are obvious visual signs of myco activity.

I hate to say it but the Real Growers Recharge even though they claim to have more bacteria the product really doesn't work good and chokes me out with powder when applying it. I much prefer the granular stuff...

Not to mention you should avoid products containing KELP and other stuff other than just myco because its going to not be a fair comparison due to kelp containing natural pgrs/auxins.

Didn't know you guys were on the forum I'll definitely be tuning in. I dig the granular style of the product. I like when I can actually SEE that a product is working as advertised versus just hoping it "may help".
