Using ActiveGrowLED T5 Ho's. Like being able to swap LED strips out. AG has fixtures but I use an AGROBRITE fixture. Very economical and a good bang for the buck. T5's rock.

Growers choice is a great light. And they keep plenty in stock and are easy to work with.
If it fits your space and budget, then pull the trigger.

I have 2 x 300w meji quantums with meanwell drivers and forgro65 to fill the sides they have been faultless last 4yrs
I have that exact light in a 2’x6’ closet space and it is more than enough. I’m not quite using the total length of the space but I also have not had the light cranked up to full intensity. My only complaint is there is no dial to adjust the intensity. It’s done through a small hole in the top of the driver w/ a tiny Phillips head screwdriver. You just have to guess if you’re halfway or 1/3 or whatever.I woukd get 2 of these...

My plants are almost ready and I have it around 80% of full power. I had a friend come over who has an expensive meter that’s accurate. My light is 25” from the tops and I was getting almost 1100ppfd dead center and still around 700ppfd in the corners and far edges. I chose to leave it and not crank it up.
Believe me, if a new indoor
grower can produce some rock hard dense buds despite making all kinds of mistakes, the light is doing its job. The proof is always in the pudding, and about to be in the mason jars….lolSeriously, there may be other brands that will do just as well, but if I ever buy another light it will def be a HLG.
Yep... I have 2 of them with the original qb 288 boards. I also have 4 qb96 elites which are cannons.... Great lights and great produce from them

I really liked the look of the hlg blackbird but shipping it to UK cost to much nearly £1300 in total once shipping tax and import tax added plus I can't even get it delivered from the eu store gutted man looks like I will need to look at something else or wait and hopefully it will pop up somewhere over here

Gavita rates the 1700e as good for a 4 x 4. But can be stretched to 5 x 5. IMHO most LED manufacturers are guilty of overrating their products.
The Gavita is 1736umol.
A 1000w Hortilux HPS is 1881umol, and for decades a 1000w HID has been rated to cover a 4 x 4 area. The Gavita is only 145 less umol than a 1000w HID/Hortilux HPS.
The Gavita also has more LED Diodes than any other brand. Its got 3336 Diodes, and gives wall to wall coverage. It also has a killer heat sink, and runs cooler than the vast majority of other LED in its class.
I use a 1700e for seedlings- veg, in a 4 x 4 area at 24 inches height for seedlings and veg. I dont use a tent though. Its size is about 44 x 44, so it will fit in a 4 x 4 area. Gavita recommends 12in- 18in height for flowering in a 4 x 4

Its too risky to assume that they would send a free replacement without myself being out of pocket it a bummer for myself dude I just spent about a week reading up on hlg lights and hyped myself to get one lol thanks for your recommendations and info appreciated bud
