yes as you can see from the picture previously it’s growing rapidly ! So hoping for the best. Should I water once a week ?
sphagnum moss experienced growers?

Water when the top soil is dry and the pot feels light. Transplant into bigger pot when you see roots out of drainage holes.

Okay some people were saying when it has a rootball or when the steam is a certain length ? But will do thank you for your help !

Typically the edges of leaves will reach/extend past the edges of your pots and you will see root tips reaching out of drainage holes. I like to gently squeeze the pot as well to see if roots are touching the sides of the pot. If the side AND bottom roots are exposed I def will transplant.

yes of course, I’m familiar with plants I have a bunch of house ones. I know it not same concept but some things are the same lol
I would. soil dont need much food and you can use any of the soils. I started with Fox Farm, then I started using miracle grow years later then lowes off brand sta green soil, its cheaper might need perlite or leave it alone let it do its thing and dont water it and feed so much.
Everything works if you let it.

that’s what it is in now is the sta green from lowes. & the root popped up this morning from the dirt, so seems to be doing fine. Someone said it won’t flourish in that soil.
They havent flourished as growers. soil is fine if you dont add perlite dont water as much. for me the soil is just something to put the plant and support its roots. no magic just an anchor. I had stagreen bags miracle gro bags the 99 cent compost that had earing backs and glass in it lol the garden soil and whatever they had for sale or trying to give away and mix it all up with a few hand fulls of perlite and the plants had no idea they wernt in supersoil or $25 fox farm. I reuse this soil for years.
Give it plenty of space for the roots to grow
Stay away from over watering
Do not overfeed
give strong light no leaks at night
the plant will flourish. we expect results here in 3 months dont drag it out.

Not trying to be rude, just lack of exp and using weird methods poor soil etc seems like a recipe for disaster is ya ask me. I do wish you luck tho on your journey of learning.

well you have to start somewhere right ? Who do you think figured out all these methods we use now ? People experiment. I did not leave it in the moss (because everyone didn’t think it would do well so I listened) I’ve seen actually many people be successful with growing in-just regular soil you get from lowes & honestly that’s all I have on hand right now. But we’ll see I hope for luck if not then oh well I’ll try again ! Thank you happy planting !

Just need to add some perlite to that soil and it would be a bit better, but huge improvement over the pile of moss it was buried in earlier!
What I've learned/am still learning is that this plant takes 4~ months of your time and countless of your other resources so if you are going to be doing something you don't want to be kicking yourself in the ass for not doing it as right as you possibly could the first time. That's my view anyways. You can put together a pretty kick ass medium for under $40

it’s alread in the dirt, I should disturb it right ? Just to put perlite in it ? I’m going to transplant in eventually when it gets a little bigger ! & yes I get what you’re saying.

@Sberarducci The soil should be loamy. That means that it is sandy with high porosity (lots of space in between all the granules). If you put your plant into soil that is not loamy, its going to stay too wet and die. It will be too wet for the plant even if it doesn't seem too wet. Soil structure is very important. This will probably be the reason if you see your seedling drooping, falling over, or turning yellow.
