First grow

Hello guys,

I’m trying to understand if the lights or anything I brought is working ok.

so, this is a day over day pics from my first Autoflower seedling, and I wanted to ask if the growing progress seem ok to you or it’s somehow slow?

Also, any tips on when should I start feeding it? Right now I’m just watering with a good ph water

thanks for the help!

Looks great.

If you list soil, lights and what nutes you will be usingand people will be able help better.

also temp and humidity too.

Good luck
thanks for the reply!

I’m using Janeco Light Mix Atami substract and I have added a bit of https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/growing/334-easy-boost-organic-nutrition.html to the soil and some mycorrhiza (problly a bit to much since I was not aware of the quantities)

Watering Ph always between 6.1 to 6.3 and I’m just trowing some sprays max 1 time per day

I’m keeping the temp always between 20 to 26 Celsius (can’t go any higher than this atm) and humidity always above 70% for now.

The lights are some unbranded ones - Led 1000w full spectrum ( I think it’s the only thing concerning me , and that was why I raised up the post)

Also, I usually have a steady small fan running since it helps to keep the air flow inside and also trows a bit of air to the seedling (not directly)

Seedlings and even early in veg you don't really need that great of a light - but once you get into flower is where you will really want to make sure you can put out enough juice. You don't really have to feed a seedling anything at all for the first 2~ weeks.

Grow space size?
How many plants?
Actual wattage of the LED?

Looking good so far, keep doing what you’re doing. That lights probably 100-150 actual watts(cheap led companies are misleading in their ads and names but they do work well in small spaces and are cheap enough that if you need another it’s not breaking the bank)

How bigs your grow space and what size pots?

It's a 10L smartpot and the tent is a small one, just for one plant. a 60x60x160cm.

And yes, the consumption of the lights is somewhere around 40/50W I believe.

Looks great to begin with.

One additional thing to take note of is learn some LST techniques to maintain the overall height of this. I know its an auto, but if you'll be running cheaper lights then you'll need to vertically train it so its a relatively even top. Those thing don't have the best penetration.

Yup, I have seen how to do it, I will try to as soon as it’s doable.

Btw are this one’s (Not sure doe):

I know they are shitty but let’s see if I can get something from it, so I can probably afford a decent ones in the future

I'm new to the LED game, so when it comes to all of the specs I am admittedly ignorant. I grow with HID lighting.

But I also own one of those "1000w" amazon specials, i use it for my tropical plants during winter.

35w is pretty low. As @Pacoson71 suggested 30w per sq ft is a good baseline. You might get buds...but they will probably be fluffy low quality nugs not really worth much. This might be of interest to you:

Well, I will see where it gets me. It’s a learning journey I guess.

btw, at what distance should I leave them? I’m not entirely sure, I have been reading a lot of different things about that.

LEDs are tricky, just gotta get as close as you can and make sure your plants aren't showing signs of being burned or stressed. I'd say 12-18" is a good start

Considering the size of your container, more is happening under ground than above (growing roots). It should pick up the pace soon enough

That’s not gonna work very well at all. You’ll be able to veg with it, but you’ll be lucky if it yields a few grams. You want 100w actual power at least. Fortunately you can get 100w lights pretty cheap. $50-$100usd on Amazon all day, just find one that’s 100w and 2.5umol/j or higher, no blurple.

I have 3 of these in my 2x4 tent and they work great. DAKASON LED Grow Light 1500, Full Spectrum LED Growing Lamp for Indoor Plant, Commercial Grow Light LED with Dimming Knob for Green House All Stage from Seeding to Veg & Bloom (DAKS-150W-L) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092PMWMGN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_0WH26YM75DV855YACNG5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Not sure if Uk or eu prices are the same, but I can’t see them being to much higher.

i can probably upgrade for my second grow.
