Too Much Light?

This is my first photo period grow. I've got 1 plant in 1/2 of an 8x4.

Using 2 Phlizon Cob/Blurple drawing 400w each and 1 240w quantum board.

I'm 1 week into flower and I'm concerned I have too much light coming from the cobs. In the center of the grow the lux is very high (115000) even though I have the lights hanging 2 and 1/2 feet above the canopy. The lux reading over most of the plant are close to a uniform 75000, including under the quantum board, which is where I would like it to be.

Am I going to impact my harvest by having excessive light in the centre of the plant?

lux for blurples doesnt give correct readings lux reads mostly green and yellow but red/blue lights dont produce any so watch out for light burn symptoms and if you see any raise them higher and to be honest i think you should raise them higher regardless because 115K is just to much. do you use co2?

No CO2. The 2 lights are powerful (4 50 cree in each unit plus the blurple cobs) but the coverage is poor and ununiform. I wouldn't have so much but I wanted to cover the whole space with high quality light.

I've got them at 3 foot now, little bit of curling on some tips but overall the plant looks healthy to me. Down to 85k in the centre as well.

Cheers for CO2 tip. Had a quick look. Worth getting given the grow environment.

Lux meters are not accurate with blurple!

I'm paranoid about taking too much off cause its been 10 weeks and I don't want to wreck it, lol
You’ll be fine, lots of people remove every fan except the top two. I wouldn’t go that far but would definitely thin that beast out a lot.

Nice bush! I typically am not a huge fan of scrog nets, but with a canopy like that I would've trellised. Major PITA without a net when your buds get heavy in a canopy like that. 115k is a bit high imo...Id stick to like 65-75k for flower. I used to go ape shit on wanting to crank the watts, but found that some strains really can't handle it. From now on I ease the dimmer during flower and gradually increase.

It's about 40cm high, fill a 4x4, come through a 5 cm mesh.the canopy is about 10 cm deep where the good branches are. Probably about 100 bud sites exposed. Hopin it grows another 5 or 10 cm. Kind of gone with less is more principle throughout the run. With nutes as well. I don't know how good the epistar blurple chips are but I got 8 50w cree and the 240w of Samsung so I know there's some quality light in there. I brought the mesh down a couple of cm and have the lights good and high now. I'd rather get less bud but better quality. No need to fry it is there. Cheers for advice. Same with defoliation that was suggested. I took about 40 leaves over last 3 days already. She definitely needs better airflow though. Gonna take clones and more leaves off tomorrow.

Think defoliating helped a lot. Thanks. Took a plastic shopping bag worth off of her. Been trying to tuck a bit every day. Buds forming nice I think after 15 days flower. Got 1.2 m2 of 6 inch bud sites on average. Changed my fan so its blowing cool air up through the canapy. Roots are massive. She's drinking about 10 L a day at 800 ppm, 5.8 to 6, home straight to the jars hopefully.

Now you're cooking with gas. That pruning will pay dividends.

Nice plant! Pay attention to getting some air circulating under the canopy and keep an eye on RH ... mould/budrot fkn sucks!
