sterile is foolproof
nope. hydroguard=benniesCan I use h2o2 with hydroguard or nah?
OK so if I run ebb buckets is there any advantage to run hydroguard over h2o2?nope. hydroguard=bennies
would take a side by side comparison, it would be interesting but i guess hydroguard is more plant-friendly.OK so if I run ebb buckets is there any advantage to run hydroguard over h2o2?
I'm all in on sterile as well. Other guys are all in on bennies. But you gotta decide one way or the other you can't be doing both. Good talk guys.i prefer sterile hydro myself, but you're right, one way or the other, no way to make them work together
How much fo you use per gal of water?Bleach is Terrible. DON'T USE IT. It leaves a toxic film that will fuck up EVERYTHING. H2o2 is Wonderful. I highly reccomend it to anyone doing dwc/rdwc as a preventative. Also, I've only had experience with Nutri-Life 29% Brand.
I have 12% food grade peroxide, than I dilute it 3:1 with distiled water because I feel more comfortable working with that as it is pretty strong stuff even at 3%. I have 100L reservoir so lets say 25gal and I use 3ml per litre of 3% peroxide. So if I did the math correctly I use 12ml per Gal of 3% h2o2. Or you can use stronger stuff with lower doses. I am not running DWC/recirculating so this is only to keep my res clear and clean till next fill. It keeps everthing clean for like a month, than I need to make some small maintenance. How much fo you use per gal of water?
0.31 ml per liter of the 29% https://gardengearshop.com/treating-root-rot-with-hydrogen-peroxide-dwc/How much fo you use per gal of water?
I would say 1)No and 2)Yes. It is only added oxygen and plants seem to like it unless you overdose and burn the roots… I have used up to 0,75% drench for massive gnat infestation in DTW coco with great succes and without any bad effect on the flowering plants. I use common 3ml per litre of 3% H2O2 for keeping my res clean. I really like this stuff. Have not grown DWC or rec yet so things might be different there…does h202 affect the chemical composition of the nutrient solutions in the water? will my plants still absorb nutrients in an h202 water solution?
