Flushing before harvest is Bro Science!

I have always fed plain water for the last week of the plants life mainly because I'm in 10 gallon pots and the plants will not starve in that short of a time period, although I have had other growers recommend a "2 week flush" or "20 day flush" and always thought that was stupid, because it is.

Looks like RX Green Technologies has scientifically proven flushing is all bro science.

CONCLUSION
In a first of its kind study, Rx Green Technologies evaluated the effects of flushing period on yield, potency, terpenes, mineral content, and taste characteristics of Cannabis flower. Overall, the length of the flushing period did not impact yield, potency, terpenes, or taste characteristics of Cannabis flower. Taste test results indicated a trend toward improved flavor and smoke quality with the zero-day flush. While there were no significant differences in nutrient content, there was a trend toward increased iron and zinc in flower flushed for 14 days. The results of this trial indicate that there is no benefit to flushing Cannabis flower for improved taste or consumer experience.

And you’ve only just found this out?

Really?

Some of us have been posting about this trial for a long while and advocating for no flush for years!

yea but who is gonna beleve a dude that says its better. how is it better. do a study like this and you can get more people. they didnt say if plants where clones or how many there was soo it could be literally 4 different plants and they decided from that. but it still had some ground with lab results and hash quality

Not really.

just slow coaches that are trying to catch up to those of us that have known this for quite some time.

i just thought it comical that you of all people Have now decided flushing isn’t beneficial when a few weeks ago you were advocating for it.
I never complain when people who dig in on the wrong side of facts come around... It's progress. It would be easier for some to accept if they hadn't dug in so hard in the first phase of that cycle though, because then it becomes a psychological barrier to admitting later on.

you can be an idiot if you tell them about air cloning or drouth stress if they dont know any sience about it they will laught and think its retarded. just because they work with fruits and vegetables and you work with flowers doesnt mean one will know everything about the other.
