Holy fucking shit........ But you actually get to have and touch and hang that nice painting you bought for 2k. So confused......
I understand. One make an NFT for just about anything. It's not just cartoons though. Nirvana just had some never seen before photos released as NFTs.
I'm not really sure, I'm working this out as I go lol. I'd imagine it be like you said above. Or consistently making money off from it somehow.Or is it just something that you hang in your virtual house until hopefully somebody will pay you more than you paid for it?
It's my understanding that most NFT's do not contain a copyright, nor are even copyrightable. You understand memes, right? And how passed around and recycled they are? I'm imagining somebody wanting to capitalize on an image like that, therefore putting a price on the original "artwork" of the meme? And then everytime that meme or art is used, you ( the OG owner of the art) gets a slice like a musician when a song is played on the radio... i have no idea if this is how any of it works but it would be a way to make money on something that is used digitally.
Wait! You're not buying any?!?!?!?!this will crash faster than zucks metaverse
You are correct with that price. It amazing what the new generation takes and values.I heard about the beached yacht going for 650k. This shit is no joke but I just dont understand what will eventually happen to this "artwork" ? You display it on a flat screen in your home or some shit? Hope it takes off and start a clothing line? Gen Z laughing all the way to the bank on all this "art" they're creating.
The value is a new way if taking partial ownership in anything through smart contract. Smart contract is another concept to learn in all of this. Basically A = B for something to work end to end. Please educate me and explain the intrinsic value of these cartoon NFT's?
This is something you hang in your home through a digital picture frame (or even traditional print out of it )I understand. One make an NFT for just about anything.
The question may have been alternatively posed as "how is one going to monetize the value of an NTF? What is the value, does the NFT throw off an income stream? Does it produce anything of value like a company that makes computer chips or grows produce.
Or is it just something that you hang in your virtual house until hopefully somebody will pay you more than you paid for it?
The Bored Apes Yacht club gives their user's exlucsive right to use their projects anyway they want. It's my understanding that most NFT's do not contain a copyright, nor are even copyrightable.
Maybe Mr/Mrs Lightgreen2k can explain the copyright issues around NFT's?
I'm all ears.
Mortage/Rent“This is a new generation where people, like to brag and show off. Once all bills and expenses are paid, have some to converse about.”

NFT’s are the new shitcoinsAnyone can easily launch an NFT these days. I remember in the early days if you wanted to do anything you had to know how to code. Just about every cryptocurrency is on github. All you had to do is clone the code, change a few lines, create the genesis block, and start mining on a new blockchain.
Most of these NFT's are newcomers that have absolutely no knowledge of the underlying technology. They pay someone a fee and and another NFT is born.
Hell I could start a cryptocurrency using the Ethereum source code. It's available here https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum. A couple cheap VPS's as seed nodes and a new blockchain is born. Call the new cryptocurrency CalMag and start mining. I've started new chains based off of bitcoin and litecoin code just to do it. Hell if you want to launch a cryptonote coin it can be done in minutes as well using this https://cryptonotestarter.org/
Most of these NFT's have fake sales and volume. It's a couple people hyping on social media hoping someone will be foolish enough to purchase.
I doubt many even know about Onecoin but it was a huge scam. Sucked money from millions around the world. It was nothing but a fraud. That's what most NFT's are.
So $26,173.80 gets me an avatar that’s interchangeable, I also hear there are benefits along with some NFT’s.. but for 26k? if you ask me it stands for “Not Fkn There” because you haven’t bought anything in the physical form. It’s just NFT lol and neither is my 26k. The next time a chunk of liquid assets goes into a project/investment.. it will be a business. (Which would involve a lot more money. I can’t even open up a bodega and hang an NFT on the wall for decoration. This person that replied to you as "much as sucker is willing was the same person in 1993 saying the internet will never go anywhere, or the same person in 2009 that said bitcoin nobody will invest in digital currency ".
Don't be this person that says dumb shit like this. This is a real market, and right now we are at the point of "2010", bitcoin . You see what it's worth a decade later bitcoin...
