First time grower need help

Hi

First time grower here, with a couple of questions:

Plants are 60 days old. Soil. Dont know PH value, sorry.

1) Does the plant on pic 1 & 2 look healthy?

2) Can I wait a few more weeks before flipping her?

3) Wtf. killed her sister (pic 3 & 4)? Could this be stress caused by me fucking up the cropping? What should I do to her?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Ph is important depending on medium
If by soil you mean dirt ?
Sorry but those plants look neglected on so many levels
I suppose I can ask for lighting and feed details but I’m not sure if they are worth saving at this point

Damn that hurts to hear. Ive actually really tried to do my best. Does your comment also apply to the plant in pic 1 and 2?

The dying plant (pic 3 and 4) I tried to flush to save it but that seemed to only be the last nail in the coffin.
Adequate runoff: Could you elaborate - I water when the pots feel light, and the soil is dry 2 inches deep, and I water until I see a bit of run off.
The light is a Mars Hydro TS1000. Temp are around 26 in the daytime and drops to 19-20 over night. Humidity between 40-60%.
I think I might have given them too much nutrients in their early life other than that I have no clue what I could've done differently (except not snapping main stems when trying to LST).

Unfortunately @Herb & Suds is right. His delivery may be more straightforward than you wanted to hear. A healthy plants leaves are usually pointing toward the light. Or at least straight out. Yours are sagging and drooping down. That’s one sign.

Your plant is also too yellow. When you flip you need them looking great because the stretch phase is the hardest on the plant. Some strains can grow and inch or more a day in stretch.

Hope that helps some. Yes all 4 plants need help.

And your LST is fine, stems break sometimes it’s part of the deal. You get better with more experience. Give a list of all your grow details. What size space, light, strain, type of soil, etc

Tent: 120x60x180 cm (4x2x6')
Lights: 2 x Mars Hydro TS1000.
Soil: 'Plagron Light Mix' which contains nutes for the first 2 weeks (which I followed).
Strain: CPH Kush Project (Indica)
Nutrients: Big Plant Science, A,B,X
Temp: 26-27 at day, 19-20 at night
Humidity: 40-60%
Light schedule: 18/6
Date of sprout: 22nd dec. 2021.

When I started adding nutes I made 2 mistakes: First of all I followed the dosing instructions from the supplier. Now I know I should only have gone with half the amount. Secondly, and probably worse, I fed the plants that amount of nutrients with EVERY watering for the first 3-4 weeks until I realized that you are only supposed to feed your plants with nutes once a week. After realizing my mistakes I've tried to adjust the feeding schedule, but im worried the damage has been done and im wondering if I should just start all over. It would really suck but maybe it's worth it.

What do I do from here guys?

just needs food. you said feed/water until "a bit of runoff". we want to get about 25% runoff in soil

its ok to feed everytime now, they ate all the food in the soil already. just need to find the amount they want.

feed them now 2.5-3ec, ph to 6.5, with at least 25% runoff, replenish the soil. then going forward, feed 1.5-2ec with runoff

should see improved growth

How's your temp? Is it getting cold in there with lights off by any chance? My plants put purple stems and purple veins under leaves when there is a sudden drop in temp

It's kind of a crap shoot without pH because that determines your nutrient intake. They look deficient in Nitrogen for sure. I've had plants that look like this in hydro because they had a root contam. In soil that is less likely, so it might just be deficiency.

You got it. You started out great, got your numbers, just over thought it like most first grows go these days. Remember it's a weed, and it will most probably do better by itself rather than all the over love we give it. LITFA and go back to basics. ... but Geez, they look crook. :o

Also, should I do a flush before feeding them again?

Sounds like I should definitely invest in a pH meter...

no problem, great question. EC= electric conductivity. its a measurement of nutrient solution; higher numbers mean higher concentration of nutrients.
a $15 meter is fine for this and replace it every couple years.

for ph, i like drops. doesnt need calibration or batteries, etc

EC, PPM, TDS. Look for TDS meter. I have this one. It works fine. I take 3 readings and average them together unless it reads the exact same number.
