Stop believing that bullshit. Putin makes himself look larger than life. His army is not superior to the west. Period. That's why he constantly attacks the smaller countries around him. He knows the EU and US are loathe to have a war in Europe. And takes advantage.

What was Obama doing in the 8 years he was in office about Russia? One example I recall, he declined to arm Ukraine after Russia’s invasion in 2014. (Shortly after coming into office Trump approved that same request, then also requested 17 billion for the European Deterrence Initiative in his first 2 years, compared to Obama’s 5 billion in the last 3 years he was in office)

pretty sure trump was the one that wanted the US to get out of NATO too.

Agreed. Although China aligned with Russia would be formidable.

Mutual destruction is the greatest deterrent; along with SSBNs ;)
