That's very misleading then..

Why would they say that it's harvest Time then..

It says 63 to 70 days until harvest.

That wouldn't give you any indication about how long to leave it in the veg state.

Just how long should you leave Purple Haze in it's vegetative state?

I mean isn't there a normal cycle for the plant when it's out in the sun?

Cuz if that's the case I would like to achieve the best yields possible and let it grow the way that it was genetically designed to grow.

I know that Photoperiods rely on the light change and other factors, but

What's a good time to switch to

Rule #1 in fight club: never trust the suggested harvest times.

I just don't think the person who posted that realized that I have a grow light. ☮
I seen your grow light, you showed us earlier in the thread. That being said I still would only grow one to learn how a cannabis plant grows. It's sativa Dom but still gonna get crowded with all 3.

Most of the purple haze I seen on ilgm they went over 14weeks or more. That's why I don't grow sativa/ sativa dom they take a min. The sun going down earlier making nights longer is what triggers flower/ budding. You can flip it to flower once it's mature. You will notice once it's growing good and strong for a bit that the new growth tips are no longer coming out next to each other but staggered. You might see pre flowers also. Both signs of a mature plant.

According to grower's choice it takes about 8 or 9 weeks if you properly veg and Bloom it, like a normal cycle.

It's a hybrid 70/30
I think " finishing time" depends on how big you want to veg it to. I've been growing
" chocolope" ( 90% + so supplier says) for last 3yrs. I usually veg for at least 4 months then they flower for about same time. It takes a very long time to see trichomes turn amber. Having a veg room and one for flowering gives me a steady flow......no supply chain hiccups. I'll dig ditches all day on this sativa. If I smoke heavy indica, I'll never get off couch to get shovel.

They say that harvest time because it sounds better than the reality of 2-3weeks longer that a home grower with inferior equipment would get. The breeder had a room full of plants under a different light and God knows what kind of nutes pumped in however many times a day... maybe one was ready for harvest in 63 days, then a different one perhaps tested the highest at 26% and maybe some others turned purple....so the breeder posts a pic and says done in 63 days with 26% and wow they are purple. This is called marketing. Think of hamburger commercials....

You leave it in its veg state as long as you wish to get the desired height, shape and health before flipping to flower whenever you feel like it.

To get the best yields possible you should grow just one plant under that light and train it out flat to fit in the footprint of that light. This is how indoor growers get more out of a plant that is designed to grow with apical dominance.

Alot of people are in here trying to help you get the best results possible....people who grow, not just people who read about growing.

Good luck

I thought you might have just smoked and was surfing the web seen the site registered then forgot lol
Yeah I joined when I first started toking to find out about medical marijuana because at the time it was still medical marijuana here in California... And I hung around for a bit and then I left the forums, had lots of stuff happen

But since I decided that it was finally time to start growing especially since I've lived here for a year now and I'm stable and HAVE a HOME ☮

...I thought hey that's right I used to be part of this form group here over at roll it up.... So you could say that I renewed my membership.. lol...

I'm actually really happy to be back.

Hmm, is there such a thing as "vegging too long"?

I'm thinking about 4 weeks veg so far.

Don't they develop pre-flowers to let you know it's ready?

I just seen a guy post that he does 9 month veg. That's what a mother plant is just keep her in veg. Yeah they start pre flowering when they are mature

It's not an autoflower I'm assuming.
