Where the seeds in original breeder packaging, and if so are you sure the package didn't say autos?I ordered Skywalker Haze photos by Dutch passion. A few weeks into the grow they started to get a lot of hairs. They were flowering. They were auto's. I emailed NASC along with some pictures and they agreed that they were auto's. They said they would email me a gift card. That was 2 weeks ago. No gift card. They stopped replying to my email. That's my experience
My go toUp until my last order ive used one bank exclusively. Still very happy w them but decided wtf lets test some new waters and went with NASC. Great selection, promos, easy pay, fast shipping. Very professional so now I'll be using 2 banks .
It didn't say auto, in a metal box. North Alantic seed company made it right. Sent me a gift card a few minutes after my first post.Where the seeds in original breeder packaging, and if so are you sure the package didn't say autos?
18 months is well within reasonable age for seeds.I tried them for the first time recently. Good prices on genetics I was looking for. Came quickly and had some good freebies and a couple other knick knacks thrown in. Only gripe was that of the breeder packs I ordered, the only one that was dated was nearly 18 months old. Hopefully they're well stored and it won't be an issue.
I appreciate you saying that. I don't want to derail this thread, I have just heard a lot of different numbers thrown out there in regards to how long seeds should be kept. 1 year, 3 years, 5 years. I've never used Pacific Seed Bank, but their FAQ says use them within a year. I just know from personal experience that my seed bank seeds have always been a little iffy. Bought a 5 pack from Herbies last year that only 2 popped. So I usually germ more than I need. Then the last grow I got a jar of seeds from a friend that were only a few months old and ended up with way too many seedlings because every single one I tried popped. Just gave NASC a try because I need some autos for my grow space. And so far I'm definitely impressed with the packaging, shipping and presentation. When I get through the 20+ seeds I ordered this time, I'll most likely go through them again if I want more autos.18 months is well within reasonable age for seeds.
Many reputable breeders’ seeds are older. Several refrigerate their seeds and package them as need be.
