Myself and another well known breeder I know each have a different 55 day pre99 DJ’s blueberry. Legit 55 day plants, I’ve ran mine too many times to count and tried longer but 55 days is where it’s at.

I crossed it with a Blue Satellite and I’m working on my F2’s currently. The best plant I’ve found from my F1’s has been a 63 day blueberry.
when I had what I was told was the Short cut I think it was typically 62 to 65 days for me, but I didn't know the source super well so I can't say for certain that the cut was legit. Her and my Urkle have been my fastest finishers.

If you journaled that grow, I’d be very interested. Particularly how/when you did your training/topping. o_O
Beautiful, and thank you
Thank you. I did not journal the grow. It was a very easy plant to grow using minimal lst early on to open it up, but that was all. A small but very dense plant from Mosca seeds.

I forgot to mention Iranian Fast Flower / Iranian Auto Flower.

40-42 days

It's not a true auto-flower.
I grew Oregon Green Seeds Oaxacan Iranian out doors last summer in OKlahoma and harvested it on Sept. 7th. It tested 17% and is one of the best plants I had last year! I left a few buds on the plant for another couple of weeks but noticed no appreciable improvement.

I feel like plants have an attribute chart and only so many stars. You can throw all of the stars into quick maturing, but you're going to skimp on other aspects. Maybe quick and a bit frosty, but you're going to lose on yield. Maybe yield, frost and speed are set above average, but the terp box is left completely empty. Something to that effect.

I'm sure there are many harvesting plants much early than some. I've seen what some consider done and if it was me I'd let them go longer.

Then there is that ridiculous more clear for a head high and more amber for a body high nonsense.

Chop your plants whenever you want. Most that are claiming these quick flowering strains are just harvesting sooner than others. If that's how they like their weed they're free to chop it even if it is a little early.

One thing is certain, breeders times are not entirely accurate. People harvesting based on those times are likely harvesting before the plant has reached its peak potential. It doesn't matter how frosty the buds look. They still get denser with more time adding more weight.

Do they though? Do buds keep stacking, or at a certain point do they start rodelizing(?) and no longer stack flower? Real question, I'm not sure about this part. ..??
Nothing scientific just MY experience over the years. I've found that plants that seemed ready but had buds that were somewhat fluffy would get denser if left for another week or 2. As for rodelization some plants will never have that occur. I have had plants rodelize. I've also had indica dominant plants grow calyx's off of little stems. That has been with seed plants that I intentionally feed heavy all the way through the grow so it could be from excess fertilization. I can't say for sure and I'm not that curious about it. I've also had 100% sativa's just keep shooting new pistils despite having large fully ripe buds and had been flowering for 18+ weeks.

As for 6 week, 8 week, 10 week, strains. That's all going to be up to the grower and when they harvest their plants. Some follow that chart that says once 50% of the pistils have turned orange the plant is in the harvest window. I think that chart is a terrible example but others swear by it.

Some people harvest green beans when they 2-3" long. Others let them get 6-8".

What might be ready for some is not ready for others. So a blanket statement stating a strain is ready to be harvested in 7-8 weeks is incorrect as many want it to go 9-10 before it's at the stage of consumption for others.

And to be fair, I could have pulled that strain a couple of weeks earlier. They went almost 3 months and the breeder recommendation was 8 weeks I think. The reason I let them go so long was they were the healthiest plants of the grow, so I left them until the end. People who are worried about overripening have never let a plant go very long.

Take my advice hover over their username and click the "Ignore" button. You will not see their posts or get notified by them anymore. Don't feed the trolls as they say.
That's a very weak position to take. Block it so you don't have to see it. Reminds me of when we were children and my sister would cover her ears and scream I can't hear you! Nah nah nah! I can't hear you! We were probably six and seven years old then.

I couldn't imagine going through life hiding from everything that didn't fit into my version of a perfect world.
