Inflation is high, it does suck. Prices were artificially low thanks to Trump and the Republican's shit handling of the pandemic that destroyed our economy. All those jobs that were lost while maintaining steady demand after a year with low GDP growth (2020) coming back increased the demand and businesses took advantage of this by increasing their prices.
That said, I am really happy Biden is not doing what Reagan did in the 80's to stop inflation by hammering our workers with things like union busting and pushing for super high inflation rates to stop growth. That sucked for the average American.
