Those look like they were harvested early.
your welcome to your opinion, they looked done to me when chopped there were no more white hairs and the fan leaves were turning yellow. the breeder also stated it was 55-60 days finish on the website where the seeds were purchased. if your into clipping dead sugar leaves off your flowers be my guest.

Hey you don't have to believe me. Just thought you should know. Thankfully people here saved me from chopping early when I started.

Not all fan leafs have to turn yellow at the end of flower, thats usually grower error if they die before the plants done.

Not saying those plants arent done, just wanted to state that.

Everyone has a different opinion on "done". But those were early before peak. Even when the pistils are all orange if they are "wispy" and sticking out you should let them go longer if you want to hit peak ripeness.

That’s the danger zone for me.

once all the pistils change I’m liable to suddenly decide “fuck it, close enough!”and take it down.

Been fighting the urge with this gorilla zkittles auto lately.

those are about a week ago, looks like I’m gonna make it this time.

It’s just so hard when they smell good :wall:

Those pictures are about 2 weeks out. Also showing a phosphorus deficiency.

Not all strains will amber up though. Does take cool shots, and it's definitely nice to have. But I don't use it to check trichs anymore. I just look at the buds.
I would say the vast majority do in my experience. Wouldn't ever not use one but that's me.

It might be the camera, but I see what looks like a lot of white hairs still left. The colas still have that kind of corn cob look where they haven't swollen completely. I bet it's still decent smoke, just a little early for early.

It had time to go. I'll weigh in on the question of plants and timelines. most are going to take a minimum of 8 weeks others longer. Cuts I've gotten from legit breeders that said they flowered in x amount of weeks went past the time they said it would take. Strangest thing was my harvest was better and testing came out better.

Scopes aren't needed. Macro lense for my camera is all I need for pictures other then that just look at the plant trichromes are a terrible indicator
Scopes are great for macro shots without spending a ton for a camera! And using them as an indicator is a fantastic way to gauge whether a plant is done or near.

Look i guess you must be right I barely even grow but one or two plants lol. Oh stop buying crappy phones but to be fair nothing comes close to my dslr
The new Samsung S22 Ultra has a macro camera now. I almost got it but I'm a Fold 2 and now 3 user and can't go back lol. I had a Sony a6000 about 2 years ago mostly for animal and landscape shots.

Oh I see it, when I check my plants with my LED lit scope ;)
So take for instance your blueberry cupcake pic I seen in the Humboldt area it still had at minimum 3 weeks to go really 4 but I feel.like that's as far as you may be able to go. It was looking good just pulled early. I make a living off of this and my buildings and one of very few commercial growers/ owners that take the time to let plants finish properly.
