Only as introduced as your hygiene allows. No need for predators if you wipe your ass so to speak. Thank you for sharing your sanitation practices.
A clean and proper grow has no insect threat indoors.

You don't know what you're missing. I went 3 years without seeing a gnat thanks to my predators. Gnats are Hypoaspis Miles favorite food, but they'll eat other bad shit too.
Rove beetles are cool too. They don't venture far from the pots. I've had Big Eyed Bugs too. I actually watched one devour a spider mite once in like half a second while I was scoping a leaf. By the time I hit record it was gone and he was just cleaning his hands. Good hygiene, lol.
Edit: I didn't even read your post about hygiene fist. I was typing on this old ass IPad. Fucking awesome timing, lol.

don’t worry mate i know what clean means i have ocd and i’m kind of a clean freak so yeah but thats not the only thing they bring to the table they also help composting organic matter because they are scavengers and they will eat algae and other decaying organic material if no prey is available.
so i’m pretty happy those guys are there and will keep feeding them because those guys are truly amazing.

So these must be the guys hanging out under my mulch and compost every time i move the mulch around I'll see some super tiny bugs similar to these...I'll have to pay closer attention next time

I fight fungus gnats on a regular basis with my indoor and wintered plants. My grow room is close to sterile.
You miss the point. A clean grow has no bugs. Keep dragging your filthy carcass in the room and you will have bugs. And water like a noob. Too funny. I love my predators outside in the greenhouse. Inside it has been UV-C lights and strict hygiene.
Love to se a forensic swab of your keyboard to share. We are dirty. And needing indoor predators says you are dirty in magnitudes beyond your understanding.

yeah bro probably the same guys. they are happy as long as they have organic material. composts are their favorite place lots of prey and lots of organic material.

you are fighting fungus gnats because you nuke these guys
do you do soil/organic soilless? you cannot nuke soil, you really cannot sterilize it either especially in organics. there will always be pests (eggs, larvae etc) in there, in the organic inputs. the only sane way to properly battle them is keeping the natural predator count high.
