Lol anyone else agree with this?
ThanksTransporters, Channels And Pumps In The Plant Cell.
same as this
but In prehistoric language called Suebi (notice the PH)
Could you explain "the whole pH thing" you tried?I tried the whole PH thing and it causes me a shit load of problems, so I kind of agree with this lol, if you don't have any problems, why try to fix it? lol
I tried to PH my tap water to 5.8 and it kept rising back to 7.0 due to the buffers in the water and I could never properly figure it out, so now I just use normal tap water and canna nutrients without any PH down and I never have any problems with PH lockout. And to be honest, I never did have any issues with PH lockout before I started trying to PH my water, I just wanted to try it out to try and make my plants grow better but it just caused me a shit load of problems lolCould you explain "the whole pH thing" you tried?
There's more than one type of growing medium and it definitely matters.
In healthy organic soil there's rarely a need to adjust pH. The microbes and fungi buffer the pH naturally.Could you explain "the whole pH thing" you tried?

If you are growing in soil your input pH almost doesn't matter. The microbes in the soil are going to buffer the pH to where it needs to be.I tried to PH my tap water to 5.8 and it kept rising back to 7.0 due to the buffers in the water and I could never properly figure it out, so now I just use normal tap water and canna nutrients without any PH down and I never have any problems with PH lockout. I'm growing in coco dude, my last grow was platinum kush breath remix and I never had any PH issues and my PH was about 7.5 lol they grew lovely and healthy all the way through, in my profile picture is the platinum kush breath remix and that was a lower bud on one of the bottom branches, the only issue I have grow after grow is burnt leaf tips, but I figured that is because they are slightly over fed due to me pushing them hard, the reason I don't bother with PH up or down is because I never notice any problems with my plants, but I did give it a go a while ago and failed due to the buffers in my tap water lolIf you are growing in soil your input pH almost doesn't matter. Weird growth, yellow/brown necrosis on leaves, slow growth, elongated stemsThanks for the opinions guys. I don't pH my input water for soil, but I do for hydro. I've always pH'd to 5.4 and let it rise to 6.2. I've never really let it stray, so I don't know what happens outside of those numbers, but I think I'll run an experiment in dwc, in the next few weeks, and see what happens.
