That makes sense about the fulvic acid. Maybe I'll start using more kelp too. I've got a 25# bucket here.

There are studies which I could point to that show both increased size and dry weight of plants treated with kelp or fulvic vs control plants. I haven't seen any related to flavor or crops, but I think it's safe to assume that healthier plants = tastier crops.

I've been using kelp forever, since growing my first cannabis plant back in 1993. I'm not sure how I stumbled onto the magical properties of kelp for plants, but it must have been in a book from the library or something, because that's how we found out things back then, no YouTube lol. I still remember the first brand of kelp for plants I bought, which was Maxicrop. I grew that first plant with Miracle-Gro and Maxicrop, and I swear it was excellent. Then again that was 1993, so expectations of weed were a lot different back then.

Careful with adding kelp regularly if you're reusing your soil, it brings a lot of arsenic and sodium over time. Really great stuff though for a myriad of reasons I'm sure people have covered a million times.

Good call. That's actually why I've chilled using it as much.

You don't have to put it in the grow medium, it's great as a foliar application, which is why I buy the soluable stuff and generally not the meal.

I'd be willing to check them out. I've been using it for a few years. It's in most of my mixes. But I started using a bunch, and when I heard about the arsenic and salts I've started using less.

Yes this thread is about the best nutrients. You shared that they seemed different and good.

They are basically all the same, not identical. They may come in different ratios, salt forms, etc., but elementally the same.

So you're wrong. Apparently you're one of those kinds that can't ever admit it. I'm not on some hill or even worked up. Simply pointing things out for you.

Well i can tell in the finished product one tastes cleaner and sweeter vs others i can tell when you use canna vs ionic for example so each to there own i know what i prefer

I understand they're both using the same basic elements, but I think there's more to it than that. I've been smoking weed for 30+ years and have noticed differences in organic vs salt based nutes. Not just with weed, but also with garden veggies.

I can't fully explain why, but I believe it's true. The organic buds usually smell and tast better and are smoother. But organic growing is slower than than chemicals.

And I don't know who the hell wrote that book and if they should be trusted. There's a lot of nonsense in some books. This is probably written by your Horticulture master at your college who thinks citric acid is bad for microbes in small amounts, lol.

And that link was just the first one that popped up when I searched organic vs inorganic cannabis.
