bought a new stronger light, is it ok to just put my girl directly under it right away?

FFHF soil grow/ FF trio/fabric pot
she's doing really well (I think) a little bit of tip burn on older fan leaves just showed up yesterday and the day before. my question is in the title....I had her under 2 weak blurple LED lights side by side in a 2x2 box totaling an average of 230 watts actual power draw. I bought a 3''3'7' tent and a spiderfarmer se3000 light. says to keep it 6" away. I want to finish this plant in my new tent but i don't want to shock the crap out of her. what should I do? just throw her in there and crank the light?

They can be turned to full power, but they'll last a little longer at a lower wattage. They don't need them though. You could also raise the lights higher, but it's not gonna be as efficient. The spread will be better though.

It's awesome to be able dim them. Tiny vegging plants and seedlings need less light than plants in full flower.

I thought you knew this stuff. I almost thought you were trying to joke around.

I’m a hundred percent hid and thrilled I didn’t convert with all the current controversy
Not a hundred percent I recently put three led boards off Amazon in the veg and clone area
But I have no real grows in LED

If you were to veg a plant indoor and put it outdoor you would slowly adjust it to the outdoor sun. Same goes for led if your using a cheap blurple light you dont want to throw it under a powerful led light at full blast.

I dont adjust mine at all i keep it running at 100 percent but i veg and flower with leds so i dont see any ill effects. But making a switch from blurple to a better quality light his plants may look sick and stressed out.
Btw i loved my hids with the air cooled hoods but i love to not have to run a ac and my light bill is cheaper for more yield and better quality (in my grow room anyways)

What you are going to do is referred to as hardening off. Google hardening off plants "edu" to learn more about it.

I grow the below plants under a blurple and put them under a full spectrum LED at 100%. (It doesn't have an external dimmer)

They experienced some light stress the first week, but were healthy plants and quickly adjusted to it.

Last day under the blurple.

First week under new LED. You can see the leafs drooping from light stress.

When switching I would keep the new light much higher AND dimmed to start. You can adjust if needed.
