Where do you send your run off?

How do you guys deal with run off?
Last time I just drained into a small tub and for obvious reasons the holes where set at the same level as the bottom of the pots on there raising blocks, but this required me to manually empty the tub every 2 or 3 days and that was a pain in the ass.
I've considered a float switch connected to a pump that sucks water to a very shallow level but where would I send it with out having a hose running down my hallway to a drain.

Buy a wet/dry bucket head from Home Depot & a 5gal bucket if you don’t have one. When using salt based nutes I just vacuum up the runoff out of the trays.

I use a full size, but the Bucket Head is hella cool too. I've been meaning to get one.

My grow is small, so it works pretty good for my needs. It’s all I bought the vac for. Totally worth the 15-20 bucks I paid for it.

My grow is small too. And I'm not aiming for runoff, but it happens sometimes. My full sized just need dumping once in awhile.

The Bucket Head is cool as shit though. I just haven't gotten one yet. Unless it's lost in all my other shit I've bought, lol.

Oh yeah the vac idea sounds easier than disconnecting all the hoses and draging the tub out every few days. It was a pain in the ass last time I did a setup especially if I let it get full trying not to spill it walking it to a sink.

Idk, no & no. The wife wants to do some outdoor stuff.. I’m just gonna throw some autos in there with her whatever she’s growing.

Buy one of these. The box has a pump with a built in floater valve. I used it to setup up a DIY runoff removal system that I just got up and running. It's maybe the greatest upgrade I've done to my grow room. It was easy and kind of fun. Last evening I did an EC correcting flush with 30 gallons of water and it worked like a champ. Plus it's only 28 bucks.

Unless you to somehow completely overdue it, a little excess will mostly be gone in less than a half a day. I personally just let them soak it up naturally

Can I ask what well balanced earth worm castings are? Sorry if im dumb. Ive heard of dry old lower qualitybut balanced I haven’t

Where will you run the outlet too?

If it has enough power, I’ll plumb it to my utility sink on the other side of the wall where my tent is. Or at least out of the tent to a catch bucket so I can use the runoff water in my flower beds.

I just don’t like my runoff to sit under the plants in the tent. They don’t sit in the runoff, but a few inches above it. Even then, still don’t like or want the runoff sitting stagnant in the tent.
