I’m so glad I don’t care about any of this stuff and just grow weed with alibaba lights :bigjoint:
You should try it, its a hell of a drug but comes laced with doubts and procrastination due to the next thing on the horizon.
And dont pretend you didnt try to add some uv to those Rita-lights ;) (wrote this at the same time as MS72. Wow, that sounds like a latin gang)
Btw- for those who knew her, Rita is gone, replaced by Mandy.

Have you had a chance to check out the eb3 f90 narrow band phosphor series? I couldn’t find any info on them other than a draft data sheet. https://www.bridgelux.com/sites/default/files/resource_media/DS13x Bridgelux EB Gen3 F90_SE Data Sheet 11032021.pdf
I ended up grabbing 3 trays and was surprised with the results. Nominal 616 for the 1120’s but I’m running them about half of that. 185w in 4x4 veg tent E0B772A1-49D2-4AF9-A30A-48DC0FA89747.jpeg
Edit- I did add 4 strips of the thrive 3k on a separate channel. The f90’s are 35k

Ive not tried the f90, in wouldnt expect it to be very different from standard 90 c i though. Looks like some solid healthy grow.
Where did you dind the f90 strips?
Personally, bang)buck i really like the old gen1 vestas as they get me 2.5ppf @2w/$ or even more if order in bulk.

Vesta is not a slouch for being a gen1 2835 @15w per square foot and 20/4 light/night cycle. Still waiting for the total weigh in
So my client finally came back with some numbers: 269g + whatever him and his lady smoked for the last weeks (at least 30ish grams) + larf and some hash. This from a 80x80cm (about 7 square feet) at about 14-15w per foot, 100w total. Only caveat is auto cycle of 20/4 insread of 12/12. 3g/w though more like 2g/w if you compare to standard flower cycles. Obviously he is very happy with the results, especially since costs the gear to make it was low, guestimating just under 300 euros which still means 1euro per watt when you got the light on full on power.

You have 6.88 sqft so let's say 7 sqft. Light it with 35w per square foot gives you 245W. So a meanwell 240W would fit well.

i would go for a meanwell XLG 240 M AB. Can be had all day for 50USD or less.

Along with either these strips or some Samsung. But let's say eb Gen 3 2 foot strips. $111usd for 20 of them 19.1V by 700

then together I would put two parallel sets of 8 strips in series. You will have four strips left over. You can order from other supplier that let you get multiples of 1 strip if you like.

Your total Vf will be 153V which has a corresponding amperage of 1.56a. Split it over the two led strings and you got 0.75ma to each strip which is barely above nominal. It should give you about 160lm/w at the board.

after driver losses you are looking at a light that does 240W of light at 0.925x160= 148lm/w which corresponds to roughly 2.82umol/j based on the waveform lighting calculator because it's 3000K 90CRI. So the uMol is a bit higher vs the lumens. If you are running autos you can dim it to accommodate the higher DLI of running longer hours.

anyway total cost for the light would be around $160 + whatever aluminum wires and thermal adhesive you buy.

Lol gas monkey so I can grow them gorilla arm colas.
I have 20 of those bridgelux strips and one xlg-240-H-AB driver.https://www.futureelectronics.com/es/p/semiconductors--Led-lighting-components--led-driver-modules-rev--constant-current-acdc-led-drivers/xlg-240-h-ab-mean-well-2116591?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIweqGs5-g9wIV0o1oCR10eAopEAAYASAAEgI-TPD_BwE . Ten parallel with two strips in series is possible using that driver ?
