Dropping night temps and humidity

When dropping night temps late flower , what do you all do when your dehumidifiers don’t work below 63 degrees? Do you factor in the dew point ?

I try not to let my plants get that cold. If that happens, increase intake/exhaust fan speeds and make sure there's good in-tent/room circulation.

Ideally you do not want it too cold at night or day.. I've had super hot days in the summer where I have to set my mini split to 62 °F so it will run on 3 tons vs 2 (issue has since been fixed) but my plants did not look happy when the temps were going down as low as 58 °F at night when I'd forget to turn it back to 75.

A good example would be 65 °F night 75 °F day. I'm using HPS so my lights heat my plants 2-3 °F hotter than the air temperature, with LED I would likely be running 80 °F day 70 °F night.

My dehumidifiers work regardless of the air temperature due to quality humidistats.

Why would you let the temperature go below 63?

I used to ignore light out temps and recently got on board with heating. Mine would go down to around 60-64...I was amazed at the increase in daily growth once I raised my lights out temps up to the upper 70's.

I used to ignore light out temps and recently got on board with heating. Mine would go down to around 60-64...I was amazed at the increase in daily growth once I raised my lights out temps up to the upper 70's.

It makes an incredible difference, my mini-split is prone to cooling too heavily at lights off and ends up over-compensating and causing my temps to crash pretty hard per my Pulse monitor. A TrolMaster Day/Night Legacy Mini-split remote made this problem vanish and the plants definitely were overclocked also my power bill did noticeably reduce in the following months by the legacy controller shutting it off.

One thing about turning on/off air conditioners and especially fans within them is the risk of mold/bacteria. To prevent that I use some lemon smelling coil cleaner that is "no rinse" and just drains down the condensate line cleaning that in the process. No moldy funk on my AC Coils yet.
